George Azevedo has been my agent for the past 31 years. George and his friendly staff are always readily available to handle any claims or review my account. Even though State Farm is competitive, it is comforting to have an experienced professional agent such as George handling all of my insurance needs.

After reading the reviews I realized I had to share my experience. I have firsthand experience with Mr. Azevedo. The customer service I received in signing up and making payments was always very good and timely. They accommodated me well. That is why I give 2 stars. However, when someone rear ended me they failed to advocate for me. They actually helped the other side avoid their responsibility to me. I suggest to anyone who wants good service when they have an insurance claim to go elsewhere, because this place will make a clear cut liability issue in favor of their client anything but. Find another place.

In defense of George Azevedo Insurance I have first-​hand experience not second-​hand. George has been my family’s agent for over twenty years. During that time we have had one claim for an auto accident and one claim for household theft. Both were honored and paid without question.

The same thing that happened to Chris M. happened to my mother in law. She had video evidence of the hit and run but George blew her off saying it’s her fault because she didn’t get a licence plate number. I changed insurance companies from state farm to esurance today because I was sick and tired of my policy rates being raised for no particular reason at all. Stay away from state farm!
