Charlie’s Day & Nite Locks

They don’t return multiple phone calls. Also, they advertise certain products, and are not able to answer questions about them. Do NOT recommend.

They have a big sign outside the store saying they do transponder car keys. I brought in a blank transponder key because I had to buy the right one for my car and they told me they wouldn’t cut it because I did not buy it from them. Did not give me an explanation to why he wouldn’t cut it, I simply wasted my time. Took it to Walmart and they cut the key I provided them and programmed it.
Wanted to give the local business my money rather than a big corporate store but i guess they didnt want my business…

IMPORTANT!!! MUST READ!!! Charlies Day & Nite phone is ONLY 209−465−2667. I’ve been using them for years now. They’ve always been very professional and honest. I lost their number and I went on line and got some 259# and some guy in plain clothing in a car came out and tried to drill out my lock said he couldn’t pick it or whatever he looked very shady so I told him just forget it and he said I needed to pay for him coming out so I agree but he would only except cash. I looked Charlies Day & Nite up in he phone book and I got the correct # So be careful Charlies said that they been having a problem with someone using their name with a different # so just remember call 209−465−2667 These guys are always in a Van with their logo and in uniform!!! Be Careful he’s a scam so I really didn’t know how to rate this but The real Charlies Day & Nite gets 5 stars

The employees were very knowledgeable and helpful and they have (or can get) any part you need with no problem.

Keys copied quick and accurately. Friendly folks here as well.
A little bit pricier than the hardware store as others have said, but the hardware store messed up my keys three times in a row. This place has always been perfect.

I needed to get three door locks re-​keyed. Two were Kwikset the other was a cylinder from 1928! They had a Kwikset cylinder to replace the old one so one key would fit all three locks.
These guys might be a dollar or two more than some of the other places but consider that you’re paying for their knowledge and their quality products. And when you go home with a key you know it’s going to fit.

The store photos did not have an effect on my choice when assessing the service I received from Charlie’s Day & Night Locks, as I had a mobile a service technician by the name of Robert come to my home and rekey some of my locks. He was on time to the appointment, pleasant, and professional. He provided the services i required in a timely manner and I thought the charges were reasonable. What more can you ask for? I would highly recommend Charlie’s for any mobile key servicing, and have to add that Robert was extremely pleasant while performing his job. It is a relief to have this task checked off of my «to do» list.

Been needing to get a few copies made of the house key. Stopped by this place and got speedy service. I was not planning on spending much to get these keys made, and when they quoted me the price for one, I was sold. I even inquired how much it would be to make a copy of my Kawasaki key they had such comforting prices.
Within the store there were accessories for your keys, as well as other locksmithey type items. What caught my eye however, were the safes of varying sizes along their wall. I’ve been needing a safe for quite some time. Ranging from small shoe box sized safes to refrigerator sized, they looked pretty sturdy and for the price, I made a mental note to stop back in at a later date. The safes had combination dials and were sleek in grey finish. I told my lady that I was checking them out to determine what size safe she’d fit in, and she laughed. Can’t wait to throw my lady in there when she gets on my nerves! Blahaha.
In all seriousness though, I walked out of there paying around five dollars for two copies of keys. Can’t complain, and the total visit lasted less than five minutes.
