I ordered from Tiffin blog for the first time this week after being recommended the service by my cousins. Homemade weekly indian food delivered to my door? That connivence can’t be beat! For 1 person for 5 – 7 meals the food they provided definitely lasts all week for me to be stuffed post dinner. 1 person package for the week contains: 5 curries /​10 rotis/​rice box. The cost came up to be $ 63 which is a tad steep as I have found other services that are slightly lower.
The dishes are healthy (minimal oil) and have low spice– this means you can adjust the salt and spice level to what you want once it arrives. Overall, great but I’ll continue to try it and see how it pans out with my lifestyle.

We ordered a weekly tiffin from Tiffinblog for the first time today and were excited to dig in. Sadly, the food was uncooked and utterly bland. I cannot recommend this place but emphatically recommend avoiding it.

One of the worst places to order Indian Homemade food.2 out of 5 items were uncooked and rest were filled with water more than anything else.
Do not rely on the menu and the big names of dishes it has to offer. Expensive than competition and a total waste of money.
They should get an award for messing up

Just received my first order from TiffinBlog. I am quite pleased with the selection of food I received, and with the portions.
The food is homestyle North Indian — not the unhealthy restaurant fare that’s more easily available in NYC/​NJ. It’s simple Indian cooking prepared with relatively less oil. I’m Indian, born and raised, so I should know.
Customer service was also great — the proprietor was quick to answer the phone all three times I called, the third time was quite late in the evening too.
This is a godsend, because I don’t have time to cook, and I was getting really sick of eating takeout. Yay for ghar-​ka-​khanna!
I’ll update this review in a few weeks after I’ve had a few more deliveries.

Extremely disappointed.
How can you mess up Indian food? The food was «meh,» at best (the fact that it arrived cold did not help.)
The bigger problem, like one of the reviewers stated, was the portion size. Nope, NOT enough for 5 – 7 people like advertised. Don’t buy into this trap.

Delicious Indian food that tastes homemade, delivered right to your door, and enough to go around a few times. There is literally no reason not to try TiffinBlog. And no the reason that you have never had Indian or that you don’t like Indian is not acceptable. Because you should.

I found this company through an InBundles deal and was completely satisfied, if not impressed. The food was good, and they delivered on time. I think he was about 10 minutes early.
When I saw one of the dishes was seafood, I knew it would be the ultimate test. I opened up the container, which to my surprise, was packed to the brim with mini shrimp. It was love at first bite. No rubberiness, no fishy flavor, just tasty goodness.
My girlfriend and I made three meals out of the one person weekly tiffin, and we eat quite a bit more than the average person. Would definitely recommend.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!
I cannot beware you enough. I ordered daily lunch from here for 5 days. Lady told me that if I order 10 days daily lunch, they will give me 2 more days free. So I did that. Now here are the issues that I faced.
1. I told her that I will pay her cash when she comes to deliver. She said the driver delivers the food. And they do not want driver to handle cash. So I gave her my credit card details even though I was skeptical. I do not like giving credit cards like this. I prefer swipes only. I do not know that lady that well. Any way, for all 10 days (not 12 days as she had promised), it was the same lady who delivered. There was no driver for delivery purpose. That was the first lie.
2. Before I gave order, I checked with her if she can deliver the lunch by 11:30 AM as I always have a meeting from 12 AM. She said she can. But she always delivered the lunch at 1:15 PM or so… Often she would call and say that she will reach my office door in 2 minutes but arrive after 15 minutes. So I would wait for her at the door for 15 minutes. Second series of lies that I suffered from 80% of the time.
3. Food was mostly cold and not at all spicy. Food quantity was not enough for one person. The whole point of paying for daily delivery charge was that I wanted fresh and hot food. The container in which she gave me food was not microwave friendly. So I literally ate cold food.
4. One day, I ordered 5 extra meals for my American friends. I told her strictly that we have a meeting at 12 PM. She should accept the order only if she can deliver by 11:30 sharp. And these are for Americans. They are not that used to ‘Indian Standard Time’. She said she will deliver before 11:30. She called me at 11:20 AM and told me that she is about to reach my office. So I called my American colleagues at the gate to help me pick up the packets. And she came at 12:15 AM… Horrible.
5. Now here is the climax. On 10^th day, she told me that there is lot of construction going on between her house and my office, which has increased her commute time and delivery charges. So she cannot deliver 2 free lunches. I had upgraded from 5 lunches order to 10 lunches primarily for 2 free lunches (yes I know greed is bad). And now she does not want to deliver that. I wanted to be nice and told her that she can deliver me 2 lunches next week when construction will be completed. Of course that never happened. She stopped picking my phones.
And yes, I have to check my credit card often to ensure that there are no spurious transactions (which is a boon in disguise, I guess!!).
My recommendation — don’t fall in their trap.
