Since they rebuilt, I have had nothing but good experiences here! One that really stands out happened tonight, with Dennis, who works overnights. The store was out of cake for the birthday cake shakes, so Dennis went out of his way to make a specialty for me. It isn’t on the menu, but he said he’d ring it up as a vanilla and make it himself. A few minutes later, he brings it out and lets me try it. It was AMAZING, and the service made it so much better. He ran it back in to get a lid and the rest of my order. Then, as the carhop brought it out, he buzzed me and let me know that if I ever want it again, that I can ask for him during the overnight shift. Dennis went above and beyond and I am SO impressed with him! I plan on calling the company and shouting praises, because I have never come across an employee like him.

Visited on: multiple dates from 2012 to present This Sonic Drive-In is a noteworthy local sight because it carries a sign designating it as the first Sonic. Actually, it’s probably the first Sonic that started out as a Sonic, instead of as a Top Hat.(The first Top Hat was in Shawnee, but I think it’s gone now.) Aside from that, it’s just a regular Sonic, and it feels smaller than the one on Perkins.
