Smalley’s offers authentic Caribbean jerk and specialties at affordable prices. Our proteins are slow smoked with Pimento wood imported directly from Jamaica infusing the Caribbean in every bite. The Pirate Bar boasts over 200 varieties of rum, the largest Mojito menu in town, craft beers, and hand crafted rum cocktails. While dining enjoy one of our two outdoor patios with a view of either rustic downtown Stillwater or the majestic St. Croix river.
After dinner stay for late night pirate shenanigans. Sing your heart out Tuesdays during Karaōke, or get down on the dance floor to the sounds of our house DJ or bands playing several nights throughout the week and weekend. Happy hour is seven days a week; late night 9−11pm or 10-midnight, afternoons 3 – 6, and all day Monday. The happy hour munchies menu and drink specials will satisfy your late night cravings.
Make it a weekend escape and experience Wench Fest, our annual festival celebrating the Pirates and Wenches that have supported Smalley’s since opening in 2008. Held annually the weekend after Memorial Day weekend, it is the perfect way to kick off your summer.

History
Established in 2008.
Tim McKee and Shawn Smalley really wanted to nail the Caribbean flavors before opening this location, so what better way than to go to Jamaica? While in the Caribbean, Tim and Shawn visited different venues known for their Jerk Sauces (Scotchies, Bourbon Beach, and 3 Dives). They were the first foreigners allowed to cook in those kitchens, Smalley and McKee were able to bring home Jerk recipes (each one named after the places they purloined the recipes from) as authentic as they come. So come say hi, and taste what we have to offer.

I’ve been working here since the doors opened. After some management shifts, I found myself in the drivers seat and it’s been that way for almost a year making this ship sail, so to speak. I’ve handpicked the rums we showcase to bring you flavors from across the Caribbean which will excite and delight your palette. You can usually find me behind the bar or out in the restaurant meeting with customers. I’ve been bartending for almost 10 years and if you’ll allow it, I can come up with new cocktails for you on the spot. Come check me out along with the rest of the Smalley’s crew and we’ll make your experience memorable to say the least.
