Quality Inn

I am very disappointed in the customer service at this Quality Inn in Stillwater, OK. I had made reservations 6 months in advance for OK State’s Mom’s Day spring 2016. It so happened that my son was able to come home that weekend instead of me travelling to his school. I called six days in advance to cancel my reservation, and was completely informed over the phone that I would receive a full refund. However my card was charged any way. In calling to question the charge, she said that the individual I spoke with was misinformed and shouldn’t have told me I could get a credit because I hadn’t given them 7 days notice. I will be sending a letter to their corporate office and will be informing
as well. I definitely do not recommend!

I stayed at the Quality Inn in Stillwater last weekend with my mom and my daughter for Greek Weekend. On the day we were leaving, I pulled back the sheets and between the top sheet and the covers was a LIVE bed bug crawling around on the white sheets. This is something I have never dealt with and I travel monthly.
Instead of making a scene at the front desk, I had the person at the front desk plus Drema, the housekeeper, come to the room. Drema got the manager, Ross, on the phone and explained the situation. I was told that «Ross would take care of it and make it right.»
I had to pull everything out in the garage, wash everything in hot water, leave the bags out for several days in garage to ensure that there were none in my home.
I tried calling on Tuesday. The female on the phone who «claimed» she was also a manager was flippant and rude and said she would have to get with Ross first and would call me back. It is now Saturday, 5 days after she said they would call me and no phone call.
I will be calling today to get an update. I doubt I will get anywhere.

Dog pee stain on the floor when we arrived, FLEE bites and a rude, snippy staff. Room was just very unpleasant and gross. After telling the woman at the front desk that I was covered in flee bites from the bed and even showed her the bites she said that it was a «pet friendly» hotel and she had them too. No sympathy for my chewed up arm and shoulder let alone that after we had checked out she called and said that we were being charged 40 extra dollars for makeup stained washclothes. Bleach people.
Furthermore, they do not care about their guests. No refund, nor money back now that Im hours away with flee bites and swollen lympnodes. Disgusting. I’m not even sure they’re flee bites? Could be another sort of bug in the BED. Don’t waste your pennies on this cluster for a hotel or you will leave with swollen bites.

Let’s see, we were in Stillwater for less than a day. We were going to drive back part the way to Missouri but then decided to just check in and get a fresh start in the morning. We made our reservations on TripAdvisor. My husband went in to check in and get the key. We drove to the back where our room was and went upstairs. I attempted to put the key in but got a red light so I tried again. The key worked and I pushed the door open. OH MY #! $@!, THERE WAS A MAN ALREADY IN THE ROOM. I can’t even say that was the bad part but he WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF PLEASURING HIMSELF. I quickly shut the door and my husband was confused because I took off in a fast pace. After explaining what I saw he decided we would not be staying there! We drove back around to the front desk and let them know that they gave us an occupied room. The front desk clerk was like «oh I apologize, our system is down and I couldn’t remember if someone was in that room» but then she looked at the room number again and was like «oh yeah, that is Mr. so and so». NEVER AGAIN!
What the heck!!!

Comfortable, clean beds, clean rooms, very accommodating and friendly staff. Free breakfast every morning. Reliable, free wifi. Indoor pool and spa, pool tables, smoking & non smoking rooms, lovely atrium, well ventilated smoking bar, close to town, good neighborhood nearby. The GM, Ross, is one of the best I’ve met between San Francisco & New York City. Amber is a very competent and helpful concierge. You couldn’t get better service & conversation from the head bartender, Andy. This location is old but, in my 7 week stay, it is obvious that they are doing all they can to update and improve the property. I felt that my business was appreciated here, and I would stay again. If the staff stays consistent, this motel will only improve.

The staff was consistently nice. It wasn’t that the place was dirty, it just needed some quality control & a deep cleaning. I noticed that the A/​C vent in the bathroom was caked in dirt, not the hasn’t been dusted recently kind, but the not in a few years kind. One of my pillow cases had a spot on it that seemed pretty obvious. It just generally felt that more than a cursory cleaning would be a good idea.
I also killed 2 small bugs in my bed & consistently had flying bugs in the room.
The exercise room had 3 pieces of equipment & all three had problems. The treadmill wouldn’t start. The exercise bike was missing, two pieces, which I found & replaced, but the electronic screen didn’t work. The weight machine had most of the weights stacked in a corner.
I would rate this 2.5 stars if I could. Since I can’t. I’ll say that it probably isn’t the worst place to stay in Stillwater. I will look elsewhere next time though.

New bar owner, Ross, has run off many regular customers. Stilly’s used to be a friendly place to visit on Friday nights. I am very disappointed with our experience this evening. The unfortunate thing is that the bar renovations look great; the bar is less smoky due to new ventilation. None of this matters when the owner is so rude and unwelcoming. Me and my friends will not be back until the bar is run by a professional who is glad to have our business.

This hotel is SO disgusting. I hate leaving negative reviews but not only was it terrible, but the staff was incredibly rude, including the manager! The toilet water is yellow. The rest of the bathroom is stained and dirty. Leaky faucet. Stained sheets. Huge mysterious stain on the middle of the floor about 1 foot diameter. I would have left and gone to a different hotel but it was late and we are on a road trip so hey whatever. Just really disappointed. Like if your hotel is going to be unsanitary, at least have nice staff to make up for it.

It’s a cheap hotel, so yeah it was older. But it was clean, the staff was nice, and there was an indoor pool and restaurant. It was actually nicer than I was expecting, given that it’s a cheap and old hotel.

Stayed at the Quality Inn for Graduation weekend. This was the worst place I have ever been it. Dirty, smells got all 8 of our rooms wrong. Put us in smoking rooms. The employees are rude and dsyfunctional. I would never go back.

This hotel is not as what everyone is making it out to be. My experience here was awesome! The customer service was excellent and the front desk girl was super nice (not to metion extremely attactive). My room was just okay, not too fancy but it was comfortable. We were not in the room a lot but when we got back at the end of each day, our room was chilly and cleaned. We needed a cold room sense it was 108 degrees outside.
They also had an indoor pool and hot tub which was great to take a little dip in and relax in the hot tub after a long day.
The bar had great tunes and the bartenders were extremely nice and quick. Very cheap drinks as well.
I would recommend staying here, it is a fair price for everything you are getting. Plus, everyone was very kind.

As a captive guest (we were required by our baseball organzation to stay at this dump for a baseball tournament at OSU)…all I can say is gross… oh, and ick… and maybe yuck!!!
Smells bad, stained carpets, worn out interiors, pretty sure bathroom was not cleaned entire visit, and the inside of the building (with the inside pool (which the kids did enjoy)) was about 90 °F…Oh, inside entrance door to bar (about 30 feet from my room door) was open till after 1 AM, with noise and cigarette smoke wafting through the hotel… lastly…security locks on exterior doors remote to the front entrance were broken, allowing outside entrance by guests and strangers alike… nice…
This is one of the places that when I got home EVERYTHING went in the washer, and a 30 minute shower was in order… double ick!
OH, the funny of the day… when asked if they have a laundry (to wash sweaty baseball uniforms), we were actually referred to go over the neighboring apartment complex and use theirs!!! Yea, right…
And to think I only paid $ 79 a night for this touch of Oklahoma paradise!

Their maintenance man was an ass hole, they did not clean bathroom, the shower certain was dirty and has stains on it u could tell tue bathrooms had not been maintained. I turned in my laundry to front desk to be done got in that night from long day at work to find my laundry still sitting at front desk dirty. They never sent it out to be done. The person working didn’t even have anything to say about it.
