Wow! What a great place! Delicious food, fast, and such sweet service. Red curry with rice, Italian panini, and bean and bacon soup!

Got the reuben which was done very well. Delicious and perfect for a cold day out and after a long hike. Try the red curry as well. Very friendly family owned store. Highly recommend!

Delicious, filling, and affordable food in a cozy, cute location. There’s a little stove in the corner for cold weather, a stamped tin ceiling, and big windows that look out over the Columbia and the train crossing.
The tamale bowls were delicious and the chocolate almond macaroon was fantastic. A super lunch stop in Stevenson.

Stumbled in early looking to grab something to eat on the road. People were so friendly and the spicy lentil soup and grilled cheese was the perfect thing. Great little place.

I’m addicted to their Pesto Ceasar Salad. Tasty, light & healthy. The soups are really outstanding. Everything is so fresh. Great atmosphere. Friendly owners. Nice garden to sit & relax too. I highly recommend this place to anyone coming here for a visit. I’ve become a regular.

I love, love the food here! I eat here about once a week. Jennifer and Rick make everything fresh daily and use healthy ingredients. There is always a special of the day that Rick whips up. His mole, curry, teriyaki and other sauces are superb on the rice bowls ! Jennifer bakes the yummiest treats and makes great salads. \
The sandwiches are big. I can usually only eat half. I love Jennifers soups! They are so good and wintertime brings a few to choose from. They are hearty and filling.
You can take it to go but there are also a few chairs inside with a great view of the river. You can also sit outside at one of the 3 tables. They are usually busy but you never have to wait long. They are friendly and will get my business for as long as they are here.
The prices are more than reasonable especially for the amount of food you get. Come check them out! You will not be sorry

While I normally get the chicken mole bowl, today I noticed a new item on the menu. I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki bowl. It was amazing!!! It will definetly be a difficult choice between the two on my next visit. The price is perfect, the staff is super welcoming and friendly, and while I always get my order to go, the views of the river inside are pretty cool. A truly hidden gem in Stevenson. If only they were open on the weekends (but hey everyone must play in the Gorge)!

Damn good food, super friendly people. Went in today and there were 6 people in line, 6 people outside and 3 waiting for call in orders. They were swamped! They still were able to take the time to chat, be friendly and of course make me a delicious lunch. In the winter you MUST try there incredible soups, so unique. I have yet to try their crème brulee, but it IS going to happen. and soon!

Great, fresh, flavorful, fast food. Something for everyone in my family of four, off for adventures in the stunning Columbia River Gorge.

The Crossing has never disappointed me or my friends! I recommend them to anyone who’s looking for fast, friendly and good food. There’s always rotating specials and great accommodations for vegetarians. The salads and baked goods are SO delicious, too. Sit outside on a sunny day and you won’t be disappointed!

Stopped in at THE CROSSING to do lunch and was surprised by the small space and delighted with the red curry rice bowl. Nice friendly folks who put out delightful service and excellent food

This place was awesome. Great food and a cute little garden area to sit at outside. Worth the little drive for sure!

Delicious! Homemade quality at its finest and everything is just delicious.

The food & service are both excellent. Fresh ingredients, everything homemade, yummy. Soup & sandwiches, daily specials, sourdough bread, salads & homemade iced tea & lemonade. Their coconut macaroons seduce you into buying just one (or more) as you wait for your food to be prepared.
Their sign implys that the food is take out only, but there are about six stools that give you seating along a little counter.

Just drove by and saw this little place. The name says take out but actually it has six bar stools and a bench if you want to eat in. It only opens for lunch on weekdays but worthwhile if you can catch it. I has half a soup (Italian tomato) and half a pastrami sandwich. They both tasted great — fresh and simple ingredients. I also got half a bowl of French onion soup for free since that was my original order but they ran out, so they gave me the last. It of it for free. The red curry rice bowl with chicken my husband had was also very tasty. The owners reminded us to refill the freshly made lemonade and ice tea. Very nice folks. Everything I mentioned + cookies only cost $ 19.
