I can’t say enough great things about Maple Leaf Events. This was a great venue for our mid-sized summer wedding. The owners are amazing and helpful. We have great memories from our special day at Maple Leaf Events. Here are some of the big points that made our wedding a breeze. 1. The venue allowed us to do all of our own food, flowers, and decorations. We also had ample time to set up and tear down at no additional cost. 2. The owner is also a bartender, and will provide his services for a reasonable fee if you provide the drinks. 3. There is an AMAZING space for the bridal suite and groom’s room. My husband loved the big TV and poker table. I loved the huge bathroom and nice couches and mirrors. 4. There are spacious indoor bathrooms in the reception area for guests. We were married on the hottest day of the year — port-o-johns would have been awful. 5. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you would need to create a nice, simple, buffet style reception. 6. Chairs, tables, bar, and buffet tables are included. 7. The view is INCREDIBLE. 8. The indoor reception area flows really well with the outdoor space, which was great for the many kiddos we had running around. I can’t stress how amazing the owners were. They were always available to answer questions and delivered 100% of everything they promised us, and more! They were a joy to work with and were great at minimizing stressful situations. *My only complaint, which really has nothing to do with the venue, is this: the DJ they recommended to us was kind of a diva. While he was very willing to communicate with us, he would melt down in stressful situations. Even with a detailed schedule of our ceremony and reception, he still ran into issues. If you go with this guy, make sure everything is very clear, and mention that he doesn’t need to tell personal stories on the mic during the reception.
