Girl expediting food was very rude. I came in to pick up food we ordered online in advance and she said hi when I walked in door then ignored me. I stood there for a few minutes only a couple feet away at the take out register and finally another girl came to ask if I had something to pick up. I told her the name and the rude girl who ignored me goes, «it won’t be ready for 12 minutes because you ordered it for 7:05». Really? It’s called customer service. If I’m there and there are clearly no other orders, why not say«oh! We’ll work on it right now since you’re here» or something. Not impressed with the service for this method that is suppose to be more convenient. I don’t know the girls name but she has light brown/blonde hair with thick rimmed black glasses. Hope this will help management know who to explain what good customer service is to.

I know it’s fast food, but it is always hot and fresh fast food. The service staff is absolutely fantastic and try to please everyone. Special orders have never been a problem for me. My grandsons have their number on speed dial, when I pick them up at school, they call and place an order and it is being packaged when we arrive. :)

We are not from the area! But every time we are passing through we stop for dinner! We even get the house special chicken to go! I don’t know how they do it be by the time we get home that can take up to four hours, the food is still warm! By far the house special chicken is best but the house special beef is not too far behind!

Haven’t been here in years, but decided to give it a try on a whim. Ordered a family pack for takeout online today. Easy to order online and it was nice that I could set a specific pick up time to fit in my schedule. Walked in and was immediately helped by a very sweet staff member. Got home and ate. Food was okay, but for nearly $ 30 the family meal is about enough food for my husband and I to have dinner then for 1 of us to take leftovers to work. Overall the price was not worth the value to me. I could’ve easily gone to panda for about $ 10 less and both of us would’ve gotten pretty close to the same amount of food. Overall the staff was great, but I won’t be coming out of my way to eat there again soon.

If you want to eat what would be considered as clean chinese food this would be the spot. I like better than panda because unlike panda the food isnt sitting outin trays its made to order… House chicken is a favorite.

This place is fresh and quality. They use good quality meat no chewy gross multicolored chicken or beef. Will be coming here a lot more than Panda Express. Crispy honey chicken is so good. And the lunch combos are great too.

My Lovie, Rowe R., loves & misses the food here so thought to hit it up before heading back down to SD. Staff was super friendly & helped with taking our order quickly. I wish I can say the same with the food coming out. I understand they cook it fresh & if it was a crowded day but I swear everyone there already had their food & there was just us. Ordered, sat down, chatted… Food took like 30min to come out! At least it was fresh & hot & yummy! Next we’ll order to go.

Not really all that great. I’ve been here probably a dozen times and wonder why I keep going back. If you want cheap and quick Chinese take out you’re better off with Panda Express. If you want a bit more«proper» Chinese them grand panda is the place to go. New moon is better as well.

I just wanted fried rice. I’ve gotten it there before Fresh shredded carrot, snow peas, bean sprouts, eggs, sliced chicken breast. What I got was overly salty, cheap frozen peas and square carrots. If I wanted pig slop, I would have gone to Panda Express. The chicken was four large balls of leg meat with muscle, skin, and veins attached. I didn’t eat it. I asked to trade it for gyoza. Manager said they don’t make that. Something I’ve also ordered there before. I said, «You don’t have pan fried dumplings?» She said«Oh you want those instead? « If you’re selling Asian food don’t you think you should know what it is? Really?

Fresh food, cooked when you order it. That is definitely appreciated. There are items on the menu that have milder flavors than others, but I don’t think it makes this restaurant undeserving of 5 stars. The only complaint I might have is that I can’t order a side entrée, every entrée comes with sides. I like the house special, general Tao’s orange chicken, and the honey chicken. Those are always good options and they never disappoint.

If you want better fast Chinese food then go to panda express. Not saying that panda express is good. They claim to have award winning taste but the only thing they should claim is most overrated. China should be offended by the food this restaurant puts out. Makes me hate all Chinese food. Let me also add, it is over priced.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to a Pick Up Stix so we checked it out for old times sake. Upon entering, we were greeted with a smile & hello. Nice start. The restaurant appeared clean & the staff were all friendly. So here, unlike at Panda Express, they don’t cook your meal until you order it. So when the girl told us it would be twenty minutes before it would be ready, I was questioning my choice of «fast food» Chinese restaurants because I was starving. I was pleasantly surprised when our food was brought to our table in 10 minutes or so. They offer patio seating or plenty of indoor seating with a flat screen TV in the corner. The separate dishes were served in their own containers, like old school delivery Chinese food. This obviously makes it easy to take home leftovers if you want. But after finishing my meal, I didn’t really want to. The food wasn’t bad by any means but it wasn’t good either. It was another«fusion» restaurant encounter that left me wanting more flavor in the food. Look, it’s a fast food place. People don’t come here to skimp on the sauce. They come to eat good tasting, flavorful fast food. Well, as I got to the bottom of the container, it was packed with rice noodles that were over saturated with sauce. I wish the sauce was on my Mongolian beef instead. I may be in the minority when I say I prefer Panda Express. But I’m sure I’m in the majority when I say I prefer flavor with my food.

We ate here for dinner. I shared a broccoli beef entrée with my son. There was plenty of delicious food for both of us. They give generous portions here. I also had some cream cheese wontons. They were a bit lumpy for my taste but the flavor was great.

Service kept it from being a 1-star, the young people there are hard working and helpful. The chow mein was inedible, among the worst I have had, the spices tasted like coat closet of an old man with chronic halitosis. The rangoons were inedible, tasted like they were frozen and heated up, and like the cream cheese was actually some granular«cream cheese flavored» spread they squirted in there. Total waste of 11 dollars. Save your money and go to Grand Panda(preferable) on Lyons, or any of the Panda Expresses dotting the landscape in SCV, or for a nicer sit-down, New Moon.

We ordered the house chicken, cheese Rangoons, and edamame beans. Everything was delicious. The staff was very polite. The food arrived as ordered and promptly. Overall, a nice place to stop on our way home to Phoenix.

For fast Chinese food take out this place is great. Prices are reasonable and the food is tasty. I usually call on my way in and order he chicken family meal. You get 2 chicken items, chow mein or fried rice, 4 wontons, 4 dumplings, and white or brown rice for about $ 25. The order is large enough for 4 with leftovers. The house chicken is the best! It’s a smokey sweet sauce with bite sized chicken. Way better than any old Panda Express. The food is always cooked fresh to order. The staff is always great and prompt with the hot order. There are restrooms for men and women. Parking is right out the door in the lot.

Pick Up Stix is good fast food, but it use to be even better; it use to be great. Unfortunately their quality has declined over the years. It’s sad, because they had so much potential. I love that you can make changes/alterations to menu items(unlike their competitor who’s initials are PE). For example, my friend likes the fried tofu without sauce. They’re usually happy to make this change. I also like the option for brown rice; they were doing this long before PE. How can they be better? They need to do less(fewer menu items) and do it better(strive for highest quality).

This tops panda any day for me. I love their brown rice and house chicken. Their tofu is also super yummy too. I brought my mom here who is a huge food critic and she loved it! She ordered the Mongolia beef with chow me in and it was amazing.

With my quest to find new places to have lunch, I found quite a few in the past few weeks versus the past couple years working at the same place. With finding some cool pizza places and some restaurant location that have online ordering, I found another spot to grab lunch. I was in the mood for Chinese and I wanted to try Pick Up Stix in Stevenson Ranch. Located on the southeast corner of McBean Parkway and the Old road on the same lot with Chili’s, Urban Café, and Mod Pizza, you’ll find Pick Up Stix. This time I didn’t order online. I wanted to see what Pick Up Stix was all about. I thought of Pick Up Stix as Panda Express, but the ordering process is different. You order everything and the cooking staff cooks it once the order is complete. Most of us newbies will be thrown off expecting the Panda Express standard. I ordered regular Chow Mein($ 5.69) and Grilled Bourbon Chicken($ 7.99). The wait would be about 7 – 10 minutes. You could watch TV or observe the cooking staff prepare your food. I got my food in a different type of packaging. Usually, I was thinking the Styrofoam packaging, but it was in those cool retro type packaging. So, I am happy that food won’t get mixed and sauced all wrong. When I brought the food back to my office, the smell of the Grilled Bourbon Chicken was overwhelming. The texture of the chicken was very easy to chew. Originally, it looked like it was going to take awhile to chew, but I was proven wrong. There was some sauce at the bottom of the packaging and made sure each piece of chicken was soaked in it. As for the chow mein, there was nothing special, but it was thick, but soft enough to eat. I had mixed the chicken, but it didn’t taste great. So, I just ate the chicken and chow mein separately. Overall, its a nice place to grab food, but not everyday. I used to see commercials like crazy, but lately I have not. Kinda want to see that little dragon again. I saw some reviews for the Cream Cheese Wontons. Looking forward trying other items at Pick Up Stix. Do you think I write too much? Well, you can call me a Unilocal-O-Holic!

Not sure what the hype is this food was below mediocre Nothing here I tried was worth coming back Couldn’t believe it was made to order, tasted like it was all already prepared and heated up. The cream cheese wonton was good but how can you mess that up??? Can’t recall what was ordered but there was rice noodles shrimp and chicken
