Payless Shoesource

If I could give zero stars I would. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!
I went into this store to buy 2 pairs of shoes for myself and a pair for my 3 year old and ended up walking out with nothing.
I asked the sales girl if they had «walking shoes,» anyone who walks a lot knows that there is a difference between walking and running shoes… She had NO IDEA what I mean, and said «you can walk in all our shoes…» And looked at ME like I was an idiot…
She pulled out some shoes for me in my size, and then I took my daughter to pick out a pair of shoes. She picked out a pair of Disney Frozen Shoes that light up and they were clearly marked $ 10 with a red clearance tag. KEEP IN MIND THE EMPLOYEE WAS STANDING WITH ME WHEN MY KID PICKED THEM OUT!!! I gave them to the girl to hold up front which she did. I then asked her to double check the price b/​c I really wanted the ½ size bigger but it was NOT marked $ 10. She checked the price and the shoe was marked wrong. I questioned her about it and stated that if they marked it wrong, it is their obligation to honor their false advertisement. This girl then proceeded to tell me that «people move our tags all the time when they want something cheaper, so there’s nothing I can do.» ARE YOU KIDDING ME???
She truly just accused me of moving the tag from another box, even though she was STANDING WITH ME WHEN I PICKED UP THE BOX!!! I asked to speak with her manager, and she said there was no manager there, and no one she could call. I attempted to take a photo of the mis-​marked box and she immediately took the tag off.
She didn’t even offer to call a manager. I was so insulted that she would accuse me of trying to change their price tags just to save $ 14.99 on a pair of shoes that I will never step foot in this place again, knowing I went there to spend over $ 100 on shoes, the fact that they would lose my business over their $ 14.99 mistake is ridiculous… Clearly the customers don’t matter. I have been to the store on Bouquet numerous times and their customer service is MUCH better, but unfortunately this experience has made me NEVER want to give my business to Payless Again.
Keep in mind also that WALMART has almost the same shoes for $ 10.97 so thinking they had a similar price was NOT out of line.
I tried to call another store and they also refused to get a hold of a manager for me so I will be taking this incident up with their corporate office.

And here is where you find them. Payless shoes usually have a pretty good selection of heels, flats, and sandals at cheap prices. Today they’ve got a sale going on with 20% off of your whole sale, which the woman at the desk kindly informed me of and gave me a coupon for it!
She was very kind and helpful when I couldn’t find the socks I was looking for and even pointed out some other ones on sale!
Shoes and three pairs of socks for less than $ 30, I will definitely be back.
