History

Established in 2015.

The Zerorez Story began in Texas in the late 1990’s. The founders managed 3,000 apartment units and were frustrated with their carpet cleaning challenges. As a result, they began looking for a better cleaning solution but found that the carpet cleaning industry had been using the same process since the 1940’s! The founders tried all the name brands in carpet cleaning and soon discovered that no reliable and effective cleaning process existed. Those processes always left residue, which naturally attracted more dirt and bacteria, and they failed to truly clean the carpet fibers. They set out to find a way to eliminate the residue and get the carpets REALLY clean. Their research and development led to Empowered Water™ and then patented our process. The result… Zero Residue! It’s simply «The Right Way to Clean™.»

Business Owner

Owners Luis and Lindsay Padilla have lived in the DC Metro area since 2007. They are leveraging their strong professional backgrounds and experience to build the Zerorez® brand in the Washington DC area. Luis has over 10 years experience working in professional IT services that catered to a multitude of clients where he provided high quality service and project management. Lindsay also has over a decade of experience in communications and event management, providing high quality customer service to multiple clients. Her background will be beneficial in managing the company’s back-​end operations, marketing and call center. The Padillas decided that Zerorez® was the right choice for them because they like that they can offer a unique and safe cleaning solution to their customers, coupled with the emphasis on exceptional customer service.
