Absolute worst service one could possibly get! PLEASEEVERYONESAVEYOURMONEY and go up the street to the actual red wings store. I can’t stress that enough. You will save money, effort, and headache. Leucine is incredibly childish, unprofessional, and absolutely unknowledgable about products she is trying to sell. Don’t believe any quote they give you for shipping time. Chances are they will forget to order your products or they will just tell you«1 week», without even knowing if the product is ready to ship, in stock, etc. I called the store day after day trying to get tracking info that I was never even given. Was told they’d call me back in 15 min(every time I called) and would have to call THEM back 5 – 6 times before I could ever get them to answer and yet, STILLNOTRACKINGINFO. It is an absolute wonder how a business like this can still afford to keep the lights on. One could write a book titled«how not to run a shoe and safety apparel store» based on the outlandish, and ignorant practices in this poor excuse of a store. Everyone, you owe it to yourself to go to the other redwing shoe store in sterling. Again, what a sad, sad, excuse of a store.

In a time when customer service is dying, Alex and Loucine are keeping it alive and well at Safety Footwear. They are very knowledgeable and helped me find exactly what I needed. Thank you again! I will definitely be back!

I dont know how these people give this place 4 and 5 stars! They are awful. terrible customer service and over priced! I dropped off 2 pair of sandals to get a 1 inch stitch on each shoe and was charged $ 45.and it took me 30 days to get them back. Not to mention the only material that was used was thread! I attempted to pick them up 3 times during the posted business hour and they were not open. the lady at the desk said they are a family business and open when they want. wow! I would give them a zero if I could

I usually come here to buy my Hi-Vis safety gear and work boots, I‘ve been coming for many years and I always leave satisfied, they will even order items that you inquire about that they don‘t have, they have a great selection of boots and safety gear, some of the items are a little on the expensive side but the quality matches the price It‘s also a shoe shine/shoe repair shop This is my go to spot for work gear

I’ve been going to this location for many years to have shoes repaired(mostly my heels), shine and some other items for repair. The two owners, married team, are professional and great to talk to. Dependable, great prices, and quick turnaround. I wouldn’t go anywhere else in the area to have my precious heels repaired.

The woman who helped me was great and very accommodating, but the man who rang me up overcharged me by A LOT. Their web site lists the pants I bought as being from $ 45 to $ 50. The man charged me $ 60 each, and yet still claimed to have given me a «discount.»(Theoretically, they give discounts to fire, EMS and police.) I bought a few other items and was overcharged as well. My total came to $ 180 for stuff I could have gotten for less than $ 150 online with no discount. The store is messy and disorganized. Little — if anything — is actually priced, so they can literally make up prices at the register. Note to fire/EMS/police — get the prices first, BEFORE requesting a discount, so they can’t upcharge you. Again, the woman who helped me was nice, and the quality of the stuff I bought was good to excellent, but having been upcharged so drastically when they theoretically offer a discount means I just don’t trust them as a retailer. I would only go back to look at stuff and try it on, then order it online from another retailer. Who needs to throw money away in this economy? And who screws over fire/EMS/police like that?

Came to the store because they were listed as a surefire dealer. Very friendly staff. They had what I needed and had a decent variety of safety gear.

If there was a zero star rating I would give it to them. I went in looking for Irish Setter work boots. They had the style I wanted but did not have the right width. The lady assisting me told me they would order two pairs and that they would be available in a week. She asked for my mobile # and would call. Ten days came and went with no call. I called the store, explained what was going on, and was assured they would find out where the boots were and call me right back. Approximately two months have passed and I’m still anxiously awaiting that call. Not impressed. At $ 175 a pop for a pair of Red Wings I will take my business elsewhere.

Fantastic, knowledgeable service. These people really know their safety shoes. There’s also a shoe repair section in the back.
