History
Established in 1990.
Potomac Distribution opened its doors in 1990 in Alexandria, Virginia. At the time, we sold mostly sports cards and were known as Potomac Sports Cards. In early-mid 90s, we began to sell non-sport cards (Marvel, DC, and movie based) as well as trading card games such as Magic: the Gathering, Star Wars CCG, and Star Trek CCG. Consequently, we changed our name to Potomac Distribution as we were selling much more than just sports cards.
In 1995, we moved to Vienna, Virginia and our focus continued to shift away from sports cards towards trading card games. In 2005, we moved to our current location in Loudoun County, Virginia close to Washington Dulles International Airport.
Our inventory consists of one of the largest selections of unopened boxes of trading card games in the world. We have an extensive stock of non-sport cards, sports cards, related supplies and accessories.
