History

Established in 1992.

Chris Burke started regular painting in High School. 20 years ago client asked to have family room sponged, mrfaux was born. Throughout the years Chris has trained with world renowned masters, also using most every product on the market.

Let me sum this review up by saying, if you are going to do some painting, you only need to meet with Chris.
For starters, he came in at least $ 500 less than two other competitors. What I noticed about him immediately was that he was honest and didn’t try to up-sell me on expensive primers or additional projects — I think that’s HUGE. Chris focused on what I was saying and what I wanted to have done, and I can honestly say I got exactly what I wanted. He’s reliable, works fast, his painting is clean, and if that isn’t enough he is just the nicest guy. He not only changed some lightbulbs for me that I can’t reach, but he actually went to Home Depot and picked them up.
Since I stay home with my daughter, Chris and I chatted most of the day while he worked — this is not some random guy coming into your house, he is very personable. Also, what you see is what you get; Chris is the guy that comes out to meet you, do your estimate, and he is also the guy that does the painting. As a SAHM, I really appreciated that, because it’s a somewhat vulnerable position to be in.
I will definitely have Chris back to do more painting in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone considering a painting project.
