L.A. Tint

These guys know what they are doing and do an amazing job. Ive had many vehicles tinted and these guys top all of them! Im going back to get the paint protection film done!

I have had two cars tinted at L.A. Tint. My first car was tinted 10 years ago and it still looks great! Just had my second car tinted and it looks awesome! These guys are pros! Will definitely use them again!

My car has only been tinted for about 3 hours, so I’ll only speak to the customer service and current look: Excellent.
I made the decision to get my windows tinted because my 4 month old is getting crushed by sunlight on the long morning drive to daycare and home in the early evening. I’ve never been a fan of tint — probably because I was used to seeing so much purple tint growing up – and I was skeptical. My auto dealer recommended LA Tint, and a car-​fanatic colleague independently said «They’re the best» when asked if he knew where I should go.
The professionals at LA Tint answered all my questions and patiently explained the process and what I should expect. They even talked through the different options in terms of level of tint and percentages. They were able to schedule an appointment for me within 2 days of calling, were ready at my appointment time, and finished when they said they would be done.
Say what you will about Virginia’s tint laws, I think the ⁵⁰⁄₃₅ looks good. Assuming the curing and drying is done in the 24 – 48 hours, and I have no issues with the tint, I’ll be back in a few months to edit this post for 5 stars.

After being subjected to verbal abuse over the phone by the most highly rated tint shop in Fairfax, VA, who I won’t name… but it starts with a T and ends with an X. I was referred to L.A. Tint by a Unilocal!Elite, who originally gave these guys a horrible and as he put it in his updated review, «unduly harsh» over some issues that I won’t mention here. The guys at L.A. Tint are very knowledgeable, friendly and are true MASTERS of their chosen art! In my book, nothing can ever be PERFECT but these guys come as close to it as possible. I am completely and utterly satisfied with the final product. NOTE TO THE CONSUMER: If you are looking for the cheapest tint job in town, L.A. Tint is probably NOT for you but if you are looking for the BEST in quality, craftsmanship and a team that stands behind their work, then call the guys at L.A. Tint and make an appointment. Clean and comfortable waiting room with FREE WiFi, cable TV and plenty of magazines to amuse yourself while you wait also.

Having recently had a vehicle tinted at the most highly rated tint shop in NOVA which shall not be named, I am updating my assessment of LA Tint.
I will reemphasize that LA Tint is not perfect. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the work, you have to speak up. I stand by my earlier review stating that there were some spots that were below my expectations, and at the time there was no consensus as to what the standard should have ultimately been, and I was unduly harsh with my rating.
However having more experience with getting auto tint, it is becoming clear to me that LA Tint in Sterling does do an overall excellent job. Perspective is important, and I would have no problem recommending LA Tint to folks.

The service was fast and the staff was incredibly friendly. I will definitely refer and return to this location.

LA Tint was recommended in the Corvette Forums. Since I live fairly close to Sterling, I gave them a call and set up an appointment. Corvettes are a little more difficult because of the rear windows. They were honest and upfront with everything including the price. The handled the back window dots with vinyl. They allotted two hours for the job, but was finished in less than an hour and a half for me. It looks great and I am 100% satisfied. I will definitely go back for tinting on my other vehicles.

When you want it done right, La Tint is the place. I had gone to two other tint shops prior to visiting LA tint and neither of them could get the job done right. I took my corvette into Geoff and 1 hour later out came perfection. Not only was the job superb but the quality of the films he uses are the best in the business. 3 years later the tint looks like it did when it left his shop. I can’t say that about other tint places I have used in the past on my other vehicle. Those guys were the cheapest shop at the time, but now I realize spend a bit more upfront for a good quality job that will last.
Geoff is also an car/​motorcycle enthusiast himself, so it’s nice to do business with people that enjoy their craft and are actually into it. You can tell he is passionate in what he does and it show’s in the craftsmanship in his work. He won’t be the cheapest he also won’t be the most expensive, but he does quality work that you will be happy with for a reasonable price. That’s all you can ask for isn’t it? Highly recommend La Tint and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

After sending several emails and appointment requests due to the lack of response, I gave up and went with a different company. The quality of work is on par based on my previous experience but their customer support is awful. Could not reach them via email or phone after 3 weeks of trying.

Just had our 4^th car done in about 5 years…2 here and 2 at the Manassas store. Great product, lifetime warranty, fair prices, excellent installation, and fast service. Not much else you could ask for. It’s the only place we go for auto tinting that looks like OEM but darker.

Went to have my front side windows tint removed at the request of Sterling Va Police Officer. LaTint removed it fast and painless!
