I was nervous to get my hair cut, because I never had it cut before, But they were very nice!!! And my hair looks great!!! Thanks Damon!

My 15 year old son has been here a couple times and it has been the worst experience of his life. He’s been coming home with cuts on his forehead because the shape up razors are too sharp! They are also extremely rude! And they do not give you change unless you ask for it! And one of the barabers made a huge fuss just because my son moved his head a little, like dude it happens, CHILL! They’ve got great hair cutting skill but very poor customer service; I will never recommend this place for anyone and we will never come here ever again!

Not much to look at as a shop goes, but for someone who needs a «fresh cut» this is a good place to start. I would recommend going during the week during school hours as there shouldn’t be many customers.

THE WORST PLACE TO GET A HAIR CUT. They are rude as hell!!! Cut my face and charged me $ 20 when it was $ 15 hair cut! They didn’t cut my hair right. If you guys planning to get hair cut and get ripped off and end up with bad hair cut. Please stop by this place!!!

I have been coming here for years! Classic Barbershop atmosphere. Sports talk, or whatever the current topic is! First timers need to be assertive you may not get greeted right away but everyone is really cool. Diverse clients, I have seen and continue to see Black White Latino and Women. As a woman, important to have a Barber that can cut a Woman’s hair and I have found it here.

I drove out to this shop in Sterling from Fairfax and I’m so happy I did. I went on a Friday afternoon and the shop was busy with people waiting, but I only waited about 15 minutes before Ray started me. I love the way my hair turned out. Seems to be a nice shop. Very clean, professional and nice atmosphere. As someone else mentioned, they have Madden going and a chess board set up. First time had me feeling like I was right at home. I’ll definitely be back.

Now when I look to get a haircut I’m looking for a barber with skill and consistency because sometimes I may cut my hair really low, let it grow, get a Mohawk, designs, I’m just off the wall like that
I’ve allowed 3 barbers here to cut my hair so just in case one of them goes out of town or calls out for the day I have a replacement
The Barbers that cut my hair are Dante, Ray and Chuck in that order for my preference, but from what I can see all the of the Barbers are good at what they do, like any barbershop that I’ve been to you always get the Conversations/​Debates about sports, movies, women and just about anything
They also have an X box for all the NBA 2k and Madden players (bring your A game!) And you can also play a game of chess (once again bring your A game), good barbers, nice vibe, Nuff Said

An honest old skool black barber shop! Truly skilled barbers who can cut and fade hair ! Come here for a good haircut and a great time ! A rare find in northern VA!!! Yes they cut white folks hair too !

Just went there for the first time, $ 15 cheapest in town so far. Harold is also a fellow Roll Tide fan from Alabama. I will be going here more often.

Honestly this is my go to place whenever I’m looking to get my hair cut. I’m glad I was able to discover this place because it reminds me of the barbershop I use to frequent when I lived in NJ.
Sometimes it’s entertaining to just sit in this place because the talks, conversations, and debates in this place are just hilarious. However, not only are these guys pretty funny with their conversations and debates but they are pretty skilled at cutting hair as well. Now I can’t vouch that for all the barbers but I can speak for two that I have used before and they are Harold and Vincent.
These two guys are the ones that I have allowed to cut my head and I’m glad that I did because they have done excellent jobs on head. They pretty much cut it just the way I tell them too every time. In addtion to the that their prices are pretty reasonable as well.
I’ve been to quite a few barbershops but I’m glad I was able to find this one because it reminds me a lot of the one I use to go to when I lived in NJ. All that to say that this the barbershop I will continue to get my haircut until I decide otherwise.

Had a great shape up and I love the fact they are open late. There aren’t that many black barbershops in the area so I was grateful to come across this one. However I’m concerned about the cleanliness of this place. They keep the floor swept but the stations and other fixtures could use a good cleaning. This is a really big concern for me for a place that is using razors/​clippers on my skin. But with a good scrub and fresh coat of paint this place could be awesome.

What a barber shop should be. Each barber is good in their own right. They’re fast, courteous, and reasonably priced. We love that they are open Sundays.
