Where do I start… wings, brisket, coleslaw, pulled pork, chicken(and pork) chili, wings, chili, did I mention the wings and chili? This guy is amazing! Don’t be surprised if he runs out of menu items, anything and everything is delicious and will be destroyed within a matter of hours!

We went to Ocelot Brewery for the beer, but stayed for the awesome food from Big Frank’s. We had the truly amazing Beef Brisket. Then we went back for Collard Greens– super yum. We also were lucky enough to sample the candied bacon. We will be back for more!!!

Man, Frank is one helluva nice guy with a daredevil approach to cuisine. My husband tried the 50⁄50 burger on one of his previous visits to Ocelot and said it was the most amazing thing he’s eaten based on it’s odd sounding toppings. Fried egg and peanut butter on your burger? Well alrighty then! This trip we tried his wings with a side of Sriracha sauce, chickpea salad, and blue cheese coleslaw. Went great with an ice cold Ocelot beer. We were so full halfway through that we had to bring the rest home to our very thankful teenager. :)

Wow wow wow. What a surprise, 2nd time at ocelot but 1st time trying the permanent food truck. Nicest guy you’ll ever meet, so proud of his own food and no wonder! He has a few specials a day, hubs and I got the smoked wings and the 50⁄50 burger… with get this, Sriracha, fried egg, and crunchy peanut butter… lol, I wasn’t sure but it was so freaking awesome… he also makes his own Italian chick pea salad with mozz, basil and toasted peppers! Yum!!! Can’t wait to try other stuff!

Had Big Frank’s for the first time and chose the 50⁄50 burger. It was amazing. I can’t wait to get back to Ocelot just to re-order the burger. I don’t know how or when I’ll try something else, it is just so good. He was a nice guy, seemed enthused to be there, and I could go on with superlatives. Definitely recommend going to Ocelot(understand he’s there exclusively now Thursday-Sunday), getting your favorite beer(or sample a flight) and chow down on the 50⁄50.

The 50⁄50 burger(50% angus top round &50% thick cut bacon that Big Frank cures himself) is amazing. Try it with the blue cheese coleslaw on top! It’s life changing. Seriously, everything on the menu is barbecue/food truck perfection!
