Salvation Army

My absolute favorite thrift store. Much cleaner and better organized than any other thrift store I’ve visited. I always go on 5 for $ 5 Fridays. It’s a huge store with a huge selection.

I love this place I use to think I’m not shopping there lord and behold I work there and get great bargains.

Nicely organized, clean store. I came looking for an «ugly Christmas sweater» but the cashier told me they were all out. No worries, I was able to find a cute name brand sweater dress for $ 5 and new purse (tags still attached) for $ 7. They feature a sale each day based on the color of the tag. Tonight was 50% off yellow tags. They also have senior citizen, student, and military day. You can find some great buys if you have time to go through the racks.

The salvation army stores always seem a but expensive but Worth a perusal. This one is pretty organized. Always find one item worth buying here.

Still looking for that coloring book with only one crayon line in it? They got it! Have a hard time locating the VHS of Teenage Muntant Ninja Turtles? They got it! Did you ever want to know where tacky glassware from the 70s and 80s goes to die? They have it!
This thrift store is nestled right into the middle of the suburbs and offers a variety of things such as sweat pants, frying pans, and furniture. There is so much junk on sale here, it is like you died and went to garage sale heaven.
Since their stock comes from unknown sources (I like to assume all shady sources to add an air of mystery), they always have random merchandise. I can’t help but wonder «Who thought this was a good idea?» while looking at the racks of ugly t-​shirts and home goods.
The prices cannot be beat. If you have a half hour and $ 5 to spend you might as well nickname yourself «baller» and buy yourself something nice at Salvation Army.
FYI… this is considered a «Super Family Thrift Store» which means it is one of the bigger Salvation Army locations. They also accept donations near the back entrance. Donations can be tax write-​offs (value guide for donated items at

All jokes aside, the profits from this store go towards adult rehabilitation centers funded by Salvation Army. Its also eco-​friendly to buy used items. Great source for artists & crafters looking for supplies for their next project. Also great for assembling your next Halloween costume or getting the right supplies for your next theme party.
Good cause, good store.
