I got my wisdom teeth pulled here a couple years ago and it was a great experience — especially the laughing gas! For real, though, that gas knocked me out and when I woke up it was all over.
I was a good case, I guess, as I bled a lot the first couple hours afterwards but then I was pretty much fine for 2 – 3 days (besides being bed ridden from all the Vicodin). That was a fun time in life, too… just watching movies and shoving mashed potatoes in my mouth. I got cocky and even ate some hard bread from Panera, and I was OK.
In all seriousness they go through the whole procedure with you carefully and test your pain tolerance beforehand. Some people handle wisdom teeth removal a lot better than others, obviously, and others get scared of being put under and having needles in their mouth and afraid of getting dry sockets. Just follow their directions and you’ll be fine. The price is reasonable, too, for a one-​time life experience.
