Mathnasium Learning Centers strive to teach elementary, middle, and high school students math the way that makes sense to them. The hallmark of our program has been the way that it engages kids and gets them to know math at a level that is far beyond adult expectations. Today, over 35 years after its inception, the Mathnasium Method™ is providing children all over the world with the confidence, critical thinking skills, and mathematical ability to last a lifetime. We specialize in math tutoring, individualized learning plans, personalized instruction, homework help, SAT and ACT prep. Our goal is to significantly increase your child’s math skills, understanding of math concepts, and overall school performance, while building confidence and forging a positive attitude toward the subject. History

Established in 2013.

Mathnasium of Sterling Heights opened in summer of 2013. In December 2014 the center changed ownership. Since then, the center has increased it’s outreach into the community sponsoring the «Concert’s in the Park» for the city of Sterling Heights. We are also helping the city purchase new scoreboards for the baseball fields at Baumgartner Park — look for our sign soon! We have also sponsored several activities (fun run, silent auctions) for schools in the community. We want to help your children improve their math skills and be a community partner. Business Owner

I have been with Mathnasium for 3 years — one as an owner and two as a tutor and center director. Prior to working at Mathnasium I taught public school (grades 6 – 9) for 13 years. I have two Bachelor’s Degrees (English and Teaching) and a Master of Arts Degree in teaching. I also have 15 graduate level credits in teaching mathematics to middle school students and was an elementary math consultant for a time.

Math is my passion and I hire instructors who share that passion. We love math and want to help your children love math too. The center environment is friendly and positive. We want every student to feel comfortable here and to love coming to Mathnasium to learn!
