History

Established in 1987.

Lakeside Dog Grooming was run by a man named Jeffrey since the Lakeside Plaza was built. Debra Wales bought the grooming shop in 1996 and has ran it with her family ever since. She has been grooming since 1986 and has passed on her knowledge to her groomers over the years. She cares about the animals and their owners. Her children are now part owners and care just as much as she does about the animals and Lakeside Dog Grooming. All of the groomers have worked here between 4 and 18 years, so they have all truly become family.

I have been taking my Maine Coon kitty here for a few years now. The staff is warm, welcoming and friendly. The prices are fair and my cat always comes out looking fresh!
I highly recommend this place to anyone with a dog or cat.
They also have a little boutique where you can purchase anything from treats to clothing for your furry friend.
The upgraded building looks amazing and has a beautiful area for pet boarding.
You’re pet will definitely be taken care of here.

Horrible cut, we took our 8 month old mini goldendoodle there today. Just asked to trim him up, they shaved him in most spots, trimmed him in others. They had the groomer come out and she blamed the receptionist for writing it down wrong, cause she’s not a groomer. We will never be back…

I have a min pin and I’ve never had a problem with this place I’ve taken him to 3 diff places he comes out more clean here n nails cut perfectly from reviews on here makes me wonder but then again he doesn’t get a hair cut, just wash n nails n he seems perfect with it! They just moved down a few doors and place is a lot bigger!

I took my 2 miniature schnauzers there and told them I wanted a schnauzer cut just a little shorter for the summer time. My prior visit they were hardly cut and needed another visit a few short weeks after. When I picked them up I was shocked and horrified at their cuts. They showed no resemblance of a schnauzer and were completely shaved. To top it off, my one schnauzers beard was cut completely crooked leaving one side much longer than the other. While I think they are very friendly, I will never take my boys back there. Seems like they only specialize in shaving a dog vs cutting them appropriately for their breed.
