We specialize in Cinema Style Custom Wedding Films that capture the essence of Life’s Most Important Moments. We have been documenting Weddings and Events in Michigan since 2001. We have filmed extensively in the Metro area, including Birmingham/​Bloomfield, Plymouth, Novi, Ann Arbor, Lansing, Troy, and Rochester Hills.

History

Established in 1996.

Joseph F Bauer Studios is a family owned video production business specializing in weddings and events. We having been serving the Metro Detroit area for 17 years. We began filming Weddings and Events in 2001. Our first wedding was filmed at The English Inn near Lansing, Michigan. Since then we have filmed throughout Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois. We have honed our craft carefully, attending workshops and seminars on a regular basis to ensure that our skills remain at the top of the industry. We pioneered the use of DSLR video in Michigan in 2009, bringing a whole new level of quality and excitement to our films. We remain active in industry user groups and associations, getting as well as giving information from the best companies nationwide. We are committed to delivering the absolute best in Wedding and Event Film making to all of our clients.

My passion for filming began with the birth of my first child. I wanted to capture every moment as it was happening. I was incredibly lucky that my parents were already in the filming business and offered me an amazing opportunity to join their team.

From that point I really discovered how much I love filming weddings. There is so much excitement, happiness and love that I enjoy being immersed in every key moment. I am honored that so many couples choose us to be a part of their wedding day.

It is always so cool to watch the feature film come together once Joe is done editing. The finished product always perfectly represents each couple that we work with. I am so blessed to be able to do what I love every weekend.
