This is a crafting place and a resale place. We usually go to slowly walk thru and look at the neat little things. The times I have been here, there were no people sitting in their booths. You can just walk around and pick up something if it strikes your fancy. The isles are tight, especially if you’re pushing a cart or buggy, but you can find some trinkets, toys, plates, lamps, frames, jewelry, etc…

This store is fun to look and shop in, but I had an unfortunate vendor experience. When I signed up they claimed not to have much of a shop lifting problem, but last week when I went to check on my booth 8 items were missing, with two empty hang tags laying near the booth. I reported the items missing right away and was told they were probably placed in another booth somewhere by a customer. I looked throughout the store but did not locate them. Also, an employee mentioned having sold one of my items, but it was not reported to me as being sold. The employees on duty said they would be on the look-out for my items. After a few days I emailed the owner through the Country Side Craft Mall website contact info. regarding the situation and heard nothing back-no response. I then sent another email to inquire about the first email-again no response. Then I called and was told the situation was still being looked into. They do have cameras for security, but I’m not sure if they looked on them. Finally, after hearing nothing, I went in to pull the rest of my items so I didn’t have to worry about further theft. I had to give 30 days notice to be free from our contract, so I have to pay another month even through 99.00 worth of my stuff disappeared. They certainly have a uncaring attitude, and unless they someday, somewhere find my items I am SOL on the time and money I put into crafting them. My gut tells me they have been stolen because I couldn’t find them anywhere, nor did the employees, and empty hang tags were found. A little caring could have gone a long way; instead I got little concern, a search through MY items when I removed them, and a by the way-you still have to pay us a month’s rent.

This is without doubt a craft mall. The minimal antiques(which keep loosing ground to yarn dolls and such) are priced way over market. The staff is not even remotely friendly and it appears to function mostly as a social hall for the dealers. Friday night it was impossible to get down the isles for the groups of them chatting loudly and blocking isles with carts. A few months ago we went and there were far more antiques and fewer dealer escapades but the place really seems to be going down hill.

It’s a combination craft fair/flea market/garage sale. Count me in! Anything you could possibly want is here. Looking for an ice chest from 1910? check! Do you have a deep yearning for Mr Potato Heads dressed like Star Trek characters? They’re here! Does your ceramic goose need a new outfit? You’re in the right place! This is a great place to walk around if you have an hour or two to spare. Be prepared to see things that will take you right back to your childhood. OOOH! a Fisher Price Little People Barn? I had one of those!!!

We stopped by here on a lark, and I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it would be like Michael’s but it’s totally different. They have a lot of antiques and nostalgic collections. Anything from old toys, records, posters, art. We were there for a couple hours, and could easily have spent a lot more time there. This place is really neat.

One one word that describes this place is variety. A lot of it. I was going in there just to check out their scrapbooking supplies, but I ended up spending an extra half hour wandering the place and looking at all the unique items they sell! For the vintage shopper, you would love this place. There’s a lot to choose from. I used to collect Barbies, so it was pretty neat to see Barbies from the 80’s in pretty good condition for $ 30-$ 45. There’s also horror and sci-fi magazines from the 70’s-80’s, and comic books as well. There’s bins all over the place full of fast-food toys from back in the day, so if you want to complete your collection of Looney Tunes characters wearing DC superhero costumes, this is your go-to place! For scrapbookers, the Scrapbook Schoolhouse is like a convenience store; they have the things you need or in low stock of for relatively low prices. There’s a decent selection of papers and stamps to choose from. The only thing is that they really cramped it into this one small space, but hey, with the variety of items in the store, you can’t really complain. For the crafts enthusiast, you’ll be impressed by the wide ranges of items. There’s woodwork, phone accessories, fashion bags and purses, hair accessories, candles, and more! A great place to find a unique gift. My review honestly can’t even describe the entire store. Just come down to this place and take a look, I guarantee that you’ll find something in here that you’ll want to buy!

This is a great place to go to if you like browsing through unique handmade crafts and antiques. The inside is set up with aisles of craft and antique booths. Anyone can rent a booth to sell items. The monthly rates for rent are low. I grabbed a brochure to find out what the prices were like, and the smaller ones start at $ 25.00. A lot of the merchandise can be pricey so with antiques you have to judge if it’s worth it. I once saw this mint condition Coke barometer that I thought was cool(I like Coke stuff) and it was $ 650.00! I noticed no one has purchased it in the last three years either… hmm I wonder why?!? The craft booths kind of outnumber the antiques whereas; a couple years ago there use to be a much bigger antique selection. Some of the items for sale in the craft area include: framed artsy photos, lamps made from beer and coke cans, unique wooden furniture, crochet name tags, key chains, woven hand bags, doll clothes and doll furniture, intricate beaded jewelry, country style sweaters, fresh baked cookies, old fashion candy, candles, wooden and tin signs. I even saw an Avon booth here! They also added a scrapbook section in the right corner as soon as you walk in. The antique items you will likely see are: Lot’s of dishes, tea cups and old movie posters, records, jewelry, toys, and clothes. This is one of my favorite places to go to and look around. I don’t know what it is but when I explore the crafts mall I feel I’m getting the privilege to see the end result of what people do with those yards of fabric and blocks of wood and thousands of beads from craft supply stores like Michael’s. I like to scrapbook and occasionally string a beaded necklace… nothing fancy, but the stuff I have seen here is just so innovative. I recommend anyone to go here and take a look around!
