Ace Hardware-Stayton

This store is great, I’m just your average person buying this and that to make minor repairs around the house and barn. Lacking any in depth knowledge and mostly being a jack of all trades and a master of none, I really needed insight to help me with my projects.
VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF: The employees in the different departments are all well informed on the products they sell. They are always more than happy to help me troubleshoot and have helped me successfully mend many issues on my ranch. When I had to purchase Spackle to do some cosmetic work on my tack room, they were very helpful in helping me find the right product to use for the job.
GREAT RENTAL DEPARTMENT: I had to rent a power washer to clean up the stalls in my barn and get the tack room ready to apply Spackle. The price was reasonable and the equipment functioned perfectly. The staff in the rental department was very knowledgeable and made sure I could properly work the machine.
LOCATION: They are very conveniently located in Stayton by the Safeway and Wilco right off the main road. They have a nice parking lot that is very accessible to large trucks and trailers. Its great not to have to drive all the way to Salem to make a few small hardware purchases.
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE: I recently just moved up here and had purchases their largest wheel barrow to get my barn chores done. I had left the unused, brand new wheel barrow in the pasture. When I returned from school, I came outside to find that my mare had kicked it across the 10 acre pasture like it was a soccer ball. I went back in to Stayton Ace Hardware to ask if I could purchase another bucket for the wheel barrow. They checked and found out they didn’t sell just the bucked, after hearing the story of how mine was demolished by my horse they warrantied the whole thing, and sent me home with a brand new wheel barrow.
REASONABLE PRICES: I have been to many of the larger home improvement stores, and much to my surprise, Ace had lower prices on many of the items I needed and was much closer to home. They have a great selection of products at very reasonable prices.
All in all I would recommend this store to anyone, its great and the staff is so friendly and helpful!

Very good customer service, they definitely go out of their way to make sure that you get what you came for. Reasonable prices for a hardware store, and it really beats driving all the way out to Salem to get something as simple as a light bulb. I’ve also rented equipment from them before and that was also reasonably priced and their equipment worked great. Whenever I need something, this place will be one of the first places I go to.

Simple, small town fully stocked hardware store.
Surprisingly large. Where do they hide all the people. tucked away in the hills?
Manager went out of his way to help me fidn the ice chests. DANG all they have is red! Same problem in Seattle. I am almost in the mountains. I have to buy it and quit being such a prig about my ice chest color!
