Are you looking for the best ways to make extra profits? As a Business Coach, I work with business owners and their team to do just that — narrow down and choose ways to make extra profits.
My passion is helping business owners obtain insights that grow profits, build teams and find time to enjoy their hard work. During my career, I have been involved in growing businesses, mergers and acquisitions, and owning and selling businesses. In 2007, I joined ActionCOACH because of this passion and their proven strategies that have worked for businesses throughout the world.
Many business owners aren’t sure what a business coach does. And worse, most think we are consultants. Instead, we are just like any other coach. We provide an outside perspective, offer knowledge and work with you to achieve performance that cannot be obtained alone. We hold you accountable for achieving your goals and help install systems so the business «works». We are a sounding board for your ideas.
History
Established in 2007.
ActionCOACH emerged as an overnight success in 1993 when it began conducting seminars and workshops for small to medium business owners. For the first time, these business owners had access to hundreds of amazingly powerful, yet relatively simple and affordable sales, marketing and team building strategies that resulted in dramatic improvements in revenue & profit.
In 2007, after being involved in several businesses that achieved fantastic growth, we opened the office in the Shenandoah Valley to serve the business owners here and in Central Virginia with the knowledge of these proven strategies.
Our clients are selected more on attitude than size and they want to deal with us because we understand people are important and systems should run a company. We offer the most practical, most applicable and fastest strategies of growth and most importantly, our clients know we mean what we say.
Meet the Business Owner
Johnnie B.
Business Owner
Johnnie is a native of this area, and a graduate of the University of Virginia. Upon graduation, he worked for Dominion locally and after a transfer to Richmond, he was involved in rate making, cost analysis, economic development, marketing, operations and alternative energy.
In 1988, he joined a technology company and helped grow it from $ 2M to over $ 30M in four years. With that growth came lots of opportunities, including growing companies through mergers and acquisitions. He experienced many different companies and their teams and helped coordinate the integration of 6 of those into the existing organization.
In 2001, he came across an attractive company. The parent company passed and he saw an opportunity. The year prior had produced revenues of $ 2.4M with breakeven profits. Two years later, the company exceeded $ 5.5M in revenue with above average profitability. In 2007, he sold and returned to the Valley to work with businesses here to grow jobs and increase profits.
