I came here to upgrade mine and my wife’s phones, and had many questions that I needed answered about the plans, the edge plan, etc. There were a handful of people in the store, it had a pleasant layout, and I was approached immediately and signed in right away. We waited for like 5 minutes, looked around a bit, and then a great sales woman, Jessica, helped us with our questions and concerns. She answered our questions, honestly, and ultimately advised us to wait on the upgrade. They didn’t have the specific phones we wanted in stock so it wound up being moot, but if I need help from a Verizon store, I will definitely go here.

I live in Tottenville 5 minutes away from this store yet I travel to the other side of the island when I need anything done by Verizon? Why? Everytime I go in there for service on a phone, I feel like I’m being mugged into upgrading or adding on plans, I know they work on commission but customer service is an afterthought there with the young 20 something snotty staff, I’ve actually been blatantly lied to about service plans by two seperate staff members on two different occasions which caused me a lot of hassle and led to me making a complaint to Verizon who gave me two free months of service for my troubles. Avoid at all costs !!! On a more positive note, I went to the store on New Dorp/Hylan to renew my phone discount that I get through my employer and they coulldn’t have been nicer. No pressure to upgrade, just great service. What a concept !!
