Welcome to the Staten Island Skating Pavilion; home to Staten Island’s skate enthusiasts, hockey fans, and the finest recreational skating rink in the area!

Staten Island Skating Pavilion offers skating activities for both experienced and non-​experienced skaters! We offer classes for those starting out, those looking for a refresher, and for kids! Come learn to figure skate or to skate for hockey, sport, and for a fun and comprehensive way to get in great physical shape!

Our full-​sized skate rink facilities offer quality ice maintenance, a snack bar and party room (with catering options), jumbotron, game benches and seating, rink rental, special event skates with holiday and special themes (including Disney’s Frozen princesses!), skate rental and locker rooms.

Our many classes and activities include regular figure and hockey skate lessons and clinics (for all experience levels), elite and bridge training, Richmond Thunder and high school games, adult and youth hockey league games, camps and tournaments.

We also offer preschool skate programs, host special events and parties, private rentals, and private lessons for small groups or individuals. Check out our full schedule on our website today!

Staten Island Skating Pavilion has been serving Staten Island and the surrounding area since 1995.

Our mission is to provide great skating and recreational activities in a fun and motivating environment.

Meet the Manager

Sarah T.

Manager

Sara has been in and around ice rinks since she was born.

Growing up, Sara was raised in the family business and learned at a young age all of the ins and outs of running and operating a skating rink (in between skating and playing herself!). She has continued to stay and support her family’s rink and can’t imagine a life without being around the exciting and fun atmosphere of a skate rink.

Sara enjoys being able to serve the public at Staten Island Skating Pavilion where offering the community of Staten Island a top quality ice rink with the best facilities and activities/​programs is the driving force of the business.

Sara, her family, and the entire team of employees and volunteers at the Staten Island Skate community hope to provide you with such a positive experience you’ll remember to return to Staten Island Skating Pavilion when you’re in need of a great time and healthy pastime.
