Ever since Salvatore Scannella, the founder of Princess Travel Sailed on the

SS independence in 1959, he has been infatuated by the love of travel and especially ocean liners.

In 1965 he began working at the «Italian Line» who owned the legendary liners: Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaelo, Michelangelo & Cristoforo Columbo. In 1973 he managed a travel agency on Staten island for 3 years before opening Princess Travel in 1976. His two son’s Gian & Joey who have been cruising pretty much there whole lives have been working beside him since the beginning of 2000. Also Virginia Indelicato has been part of Princess Travel Since early 2000 until present.
