The owner entered the field in1988 when he attended a technical college in the field of HVAC, after that he spend 20 years working for various different companies in the field constantly updating his knowledge through further schooling and job experience. In 2008 he opened up On Call Mechanical Services Corp which he currently runs with his wife and several employees.

Boiler stopped working on a Saturday night. We call, someone showed up within half hour. 20 mins later heat was back on and sensor replaced. Professional, honest, didn’t try to overcharge us when it’s clear we don’t know much about heating systems and etc. Price paid was even less than what was originally quoted. Answered q’s and gave us some tips on how to maintain heating and ac. Great service!

We called On Call one morning when he had some trouble with our new 1-​year old AC.
Gene the owner is who we spoke to on the phone that morning and he was very pleasant and accommodating.
A technician named Eddie came to the house to help us out. After a quick look at the system, he noticed that water was backing up within the unit. He quickly pumped out the water and we secured the problem.
Overall, they were quick, efficient, pleasant and reasonable. We will be using On Call for future needs.

November of last year, I hired On Call to do an oil to gas conversion in my home. Price was extremely fair. Gene was clear on how long the job would take and what the process would be to complete the job. The job was performed efficiently and clean. Plan on using him for tune ups.

Purchased a groupon for a tuneup service. Calling and getting an appointment was extremely difficult. I had to call more than 5 times over a time span of 2 weeks in order to lock down on an appointment. In term of service, it was subpar at best and not very professional. Made the wrong diagnosis; originally said certain part should be replaced and would cost $ 650. I called another technician after and he said everything is fine, and that the on-​call technician didn’t take the time to fully understand how my heating system is setup. Overall, i wouldn’t use on call again.
