Staff was accommodating. The selection was limited but we thought we’d try a few of the options they did have. Not impressed. The rainbow/​7 layer cookies were too spongy and lacked the almond flavor you’d expect them to have. The strawberry rugelach cookies were not light and flaky. They were dry and the jam had a sticky consistency. The best part of the lobster tail with cannoli cream was the cream on the inside. Could not eat the actual lobster tail because of the strong chemical taste it had as did every other item we mentioned. The only thing that didn’t have it were the breadsticks which were just OK. Sadly, that is the only thing we aren’t throwing away. Can’t get past the chemical taste or thought of what it’s from to even consider eating any of the other things we bought. Waste of money. Will not be returning.

We got bread from there for Christmas. It was delicious. The best bread we have had in a while. the staff is so wonderful.

Love this place! The owner and her daughter are so sweet and the baked goods are superb. There’s no better bakery on SI. Moretti’s dreamcakes are out of this world!

Moretti, the best bakery on Staten Island, the most creative when customizing cakes. I am an event planner and have purchased cakes and cupcakes from this bakery several times. Each time I have placed an order, I have been totally satisfied. Prices are very reasonable, their designs, texture, and quality of their products are always fresh. The cupcakes taste amazing and make your taste buds tingle with delight every time you eat one. I would recommend Moretti to all my family and friends, in fact, I already have. Moretti really goes above and beyond. The owner and staff are always friendly and professional. Definitely a great find on Staten Island. Try them and I guarantee you will be in for an amazing, gratifying experience, making you want to write a review as I did as well! MDT

I hear all the people on the island talk about the dream cake. I have tried the original one at parties and it was tasty. Many days I notice the place is open around 7am. I’ve always thought that’s a great idea because people can swing by and grab a treat for coworkers birthdays on their way to work. Yesterday I stopped by to get a dream cake. I thought I’d just run in but there were so many dream cake options. I was torn between the poppy lemon, oreo, coffee cake and peanut butter. Being everyone I know loves peanut butter, I went with that. It was so moist and flavorful. It was just the right amount of peanut butter. It was both chocolate and vanilla cake swirled together with a sweet icing. They suggest not putting it in the refrigerator. I plan to go back to try their breads, cupcakes and rainbow cookies. The staff was all really friendly and moved quick. I’m glad I decided to stop by!

They sell doggy cookies, cakes, pretzels & some other cute desserts just for PETS! Im all about I live in a dog world :-) ($ 2.00 and up)
I hear there Dream Cakes are so delicious but haven’t tried them yet they come in all different flavors.
They sell all types of cookies and pasties and Italian cookies too.
They have no sugar cookies and desserts and also fresh bread made daily in all sizes and shapes.
Really nice workers and also can call them to put in orders and its done quicker and on time.

Their prosciutto bread, rainbow cookies, lobster tails and dream cakes are amazing, the lemon poppy, pumpkin, pistachio and marble are our favorites. I just spotted what I think was a PB&J dream cake which I plan to try next. The staff is super friendly and patient.

I wish I had known about this establishment earlier! They make Irish soda bread if you call in the day before, and the prices are very fair. The woman in the back is very loud, but not unpleasant. Kinda intimidating at first hehehe… The people at the front are very polite, and their phone manner (when you call in an order) is very professional. Parking is kind of scarce since it’s on forest avenue so you’ll have to take your chances at the bank parking lot on Bement. Overall a very nice place.

Delicious breads, muffins, etc. This is my go-​to place when I send a basket. However, their cookies are just okay… I’ve definitely had better. I stick to their breakfasty baked goods.

Great muffins and breads. Dream cakes are extremely moist and delicious, but some flavors are a little too sweet for me. The baked goods like cupcakes and carrot cake leave a little to be desired.
Not a destination type bakery, but glad to have it around.

I purchased an apple turn over today, ate ½ of half of it and noticed dust coming out… I thought that was strange and I opened it up and it was full of green mold. I feel very sick now. This place has an A on their health ratings too! What a joke!

Poppy seed muffins are soooo yummy. Staff is super friendly. I love stopping by whenever Im in the neighborhood.

I love this place… delicious breads and cookies. The people who work there are extremely friendly and you feel right at home walking into this bakery. All I can say is it is truly no wonder that Moretti Bakery is still around even with the fancier but very overpriced Bruno’s bakery down the block. If you want delicious food but don’t want to take out a second mortgage check out Moretti’s.
