Specializing in Continental Italian cooking. Extra large portions and a reasonable price. Wednesday is two for one dinner entrée’s. Live entertainment Friday and Saturday. Kids eat free Tuesday’s begining Oct 5th and we will have a Magician for all to enjoy. Great bar scene.

History

Established in 2002.

Es-​Ca opening in October 2002, the owner Michael Calore had opened a restaurant one block south of the World Trade Center in June of 2001 and lost his business on Sept 11th and relocated in Staten Island. Es-​Ca was an immediate success and has been thriving ever since, even in this tough economy. The owner is hands on and has been in the restaurant business for over 25 yrs now.

I started out in the restaurant business when I was 16 years old as a busboy and immediately took a liking to the kitchen, I worked my way into cooking after a few years out on the floor and loved it. In 1990 I took a job as a sous chef and not even a year later I was the executive chef. I purchased that restaurant in 1995 and have been an owner/​operator ever since.
