I don’t know why this place gets a bad rep I mean sure it’s understaffed and sure the place is usually messy but the staff is mostly helpful and pleasant. At the end of the day you get what you pay for.

This place is slower the slowest place in the world I swear it makes me wonder about life when I’m waiting in line. Workers are always taking their sweet ass time ringing people up

Just like most Marshall’s and TJ Maxx stores, it’s disorganized. But additionally it’s filthy. Went shopping to buy some sweatpants for my dad. The bottom of the pants were covered with dust bunnies. I guess they never clean the floor. Needless to say I didn’t purchase anything.

Lines are always incredibly long, especially if you would like to put items on layaway. Staff always seem rude and could careless if you need help or if the lines begin to cut into the aisles. Nothing ever seems to be orderly, product strewn on the floor and out of place. Management, also, is not helpful and rude. Steer clear of this Marshall’s, there are much better ones off the island.

This place is always a wreck every time I go in here. The staff is slow and careless they are too busy chatting amongst themselves instead of working. The lines are always ridiculous. This is not a place where you expect to run in to get one shirt and run out. You will be waiting on line for a minimum of 25 minutes if you’re lucky.

This store has so many things wrong with it. I’ve worked in retail for about 10 years so I definitely have an eye for presentation and customer service. Without those two things your store falls apart and the customers are not happy. I think Marshall’s staff is in desperate need of a training. Not one associate asked if I needed help or acknowledged me in anyway. The store was a mess! Merchandise in the floor empty shoe boxes in the shoe department hangers everywhere. And then the absolute worst part is standing on that line!!! They had two registers open with 5 people behind the counter including the manager. I was always taught if people are behind the counter and there is more than 3 people on line, jump on a register. This manager didn’t care, they were all chit chatting with the cashiers and the cashiers would stop scanning every time they talked. A purchase that should take 5 minutes became 10. Everyone online was frustrated. Then I finally made it to the register and it felt like an exhausting victory. I only come to this store when it is absolutely necessary. I dread coming to this location and I would never recommend anyone to go here. Corporate has a lot to fix at this location!

Completely incompetent staff. I do not like leaving negative reviews, but to be THIS bad you really have to strive for the Darwin award. I got a couple of items for regular-cheapish-Marshalls price, but the cashier was so enveloped in her conversation that she did not take the beeping thing off of any of them! I live in Brooklyn, so coming back here was not an option and I did not want to deal with the hassle of going to my semi-local BK Marshalls at Atlantic Mall and dealing with the ridiculous lines and people so I was able to(after much effort) cut them off with my wire cutters. I did not notice these were carelessly left on the items until the morning of my freezing-cold century in upstate NY, and I had purchased some pants to wear with my cycle shorts so I had to just suffer through blistering cold weather as a result.
