This review is for Dr. Mora’s New Dorp/Oakwood location at 2749 Hylan Blvd. Telephone is 718−668−0922 My husband is a diabetic and good foot care is an absolute necessity to prevent complications. He also has a history of an ankle injury which causes issues with his gait and creates pressure points on his toes. I’ve been to a number of podiatrists with my husband over the years but not one took the time to evaluate his foot issues with the thoroughness of Dr. Mora. He explained in detail what caused his corns and calluses in relation to his foot deformity and gave options for treatment. He offered a non-surgical approach as well as a surgical option. He cleaned the callus from my husbands toe with a small scalpel and took great care in shaping the area. My husband also has a few toes affected with fungus. Again the doctor offered multiple treatment options as well as instructing my husband and I in how to avoid cross contamination of the nails.(I’m a nurse but I didn’t mention that to Dr. Mora.) He is a pleasant man with good bedside manner. The office was clean and easy to access by way of a graduated ramp. In total, we were in with the doctor a good forty minutes. The only other doctor on Staten Island that gives comparable attention to his patients is my primary doctor, Dr. Sanford Mallin. I recommend this doctor wholeheartedly to my fellow Staten Island neighbors.
