Not bad for SI Mexican food. We have it a try cause we didn’t want to drive off the island. We ordered for take out and it smelled delicious on our way home. The portions is a very decent amount you pay for. It was tasty and filling. It tasted like the food we would get in sunset park, park slope and red hook(Brooklyn). Very much in comparison. Only flaw was on my taco and huaraches. My taco was missing the radish slices, lemon and grilled onion leaves. And my huaraches didn’t have Pico de gallo. The lady who took my order was pleasant. I would definitely go back n get food or maybe eat there with my husband. My husband truly enjoyed his chiliquille’s, he states it’s as great and authentic as any mexican restaurant. My huaraches was spot on except for missing Pico de gallo. Don’t forget to ask for the spicy red and green sauce. Those sauces add a nice kick to them.

Disclaimer — I am good friends with the owner, so I am a bit biased, but I really do love the food here. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu and I’ve never been disappointed. I’m a huge fan of the chilaquiles, huaraches, tacos dorados, oh just about everything really. I would have to give it only 3 stars for atmosphere. It’s definitely not a fancy looking place, but personally I don’t care what a place looks like as long as it’s got great food.
