Jason S Brattner DC

Before I write about my experience in detail I have to say that Dr. Brattner is by far the kindest doctor I have ever met. He is knowledgeable, accommodating and helpful in multiple areas of healing and recovery.
I have struggled with chronic pain for a long time. I have been diagnosed with chondromalacia/​misaligned patella in both knees and last year I hurt my elbows shoveling snow and after an X-​ray, EMG and MRI, the doctors could not figure out why my elbows were still hurting months later. I had to leave my job because I could not type due to elbow pain.
In an attempt to reduce my chronic pain I did over 3 months worth of physical therapy. PT did help manage my pain somewhat but not enough to return to normal activities (typing, running, swimming, etc.). I received steroid injections in my knees to no avail. Lastly I tried acupuncture, trigger point therapy and massage therapy for my elbows which did not help reduce my pain. More recently, the pain in my elbows was spreading into my triceps and wrist and I had no other doctors to turn to for answers.
When I learned about the graston technique I was skeptical. I had been to a chiropractor before and was not happy with my experience. I decided to go to Dr. Brattner for a consultation and it was the best health decision I have ever made! Not only does Dr. Brattner give the most gentle adjustment I have ever had but he is also extremely knowledgeable about rehabilitating injuries. After my first visit, the pain in my elbows/​triceps was nearly gone (I had been in chronic pain for over a year!). Dr. Brattner answered all of my questions clearly, he spent quite a bit of time with me during our consultation and I feel like we are working together on my healing process.
In short, Dr. Brattner is a wonderful doctor. He truly cares about how you are doing and supports every aspect of the recovery process (graston, stretching strengthening, etc.).
I would recommend Dr. Brattner to anyone who is in pain whether it is due to an injury or an unknown cause. I am truly thankful to have found this chiropractor and am still seeing him on a weekly basis while we work towards my complete recovery.

Dr. Brattner really took great care of me after I was hit by a car as a pedestrian that caused me to have pain in my lower back and down my left leg to foot. After thoroughly listening to my issues, analyzing my specific areas of discomfort and reading all the many hospital reports, Dr. Brattner created a treatment plan that has me on the road to recovery. The staff is very warm and personable and the office hours are very convenient. I highly recommend.
