Use to be good! Ribs have been changed, cut in half, rice has always been in need of improvement. Delivery charge included on Bill. Delivery driver was rude asking for tip in rude manner before I could hand it to him. I got distracted from him demanding tip, which I had in my hand! That’s rude. Food is expensive not that good. Stopped ordering from them.

I love there portions. You can come here and pay less or equal to as other chinese places on the island. But by far this is one of the best places I know. I love there boneless spare ribs also if you notice there portions are much bigger if you eat in the restaurant too. So you get a huge portion even to go if you don’t finish it. I just love there portions and also there chicken wings are really good. They’re crunchy and really good. Definitely really good. Only down side is there rice. There rice is a bit harder and different but there everything else taste really good

First of all. Ive been ordering from that place many years and now im just about to stop ordering from that place because first of all the prize and drinks are bit high and second of all now they charge $ 1 dollar for every delivery u want. And the last thing. Why do all delivery guys be soo demanding on getting more tips. Last time i gave them $ 3 dollars and they was like thats it more more. Screw this place ! Ill will give it up one more try.

Fortune cookie was my first true love! I was practically raised on it! By far they have the best Chinese food in the tri state area! They may not be the friendliest bunch, but they make up for it with their slamming good food. Everything on the menu is fresh and succulent! It hits the spot every time. They have mastered the art of Chinese take out! FYI, You have to ask for HOUSE duck sauce and mustard or they will drop that packet crap in your bag which is blah!

Food is ok, average chinese food, Hunan Chicken is great Always messing up the orders though on multiple occasions. The old owner used to never mess up our orders, now they seem to be messed up everytime. Going to try some where else

Long story short– my family has been customers of the establishment for over 20 years. Two weeks ago my father finds a bug in his meal, he didn’t see it until over halfway through — calls the restaurant and they apologize and ask us for a second chance since we’ve been such long time customers. They promise to credit us for the 27 dollars on our next order. Thanksgiving Eve, my brother arrives back home from Arizona we call for an order of almost 50 dollars — they argued and argued with us — wanting to only credit the $ 5 for the roast pork fried rice. PLAINANDSIMPLYUNACCEPTABLE … we should’ve called the department of health immediately but didn’t — LESSONLEARNED, you have now lost customers of over 20 years. AVOIDATALLCOSTS!

This food is in short dangerous, avoid Fortune Cookie at all costs. The restaurant is unhygenic and the staff claims to not understand you when there is an issue. They will reheat old food that should be trashed. They don’t respect their customers. Eat at your own risk.

This place used to be really good, but the owner, Joe, sold the place to a woman and the place has gone downhill. Food tastes bad. They use food that is low quality and and spoiled in some cases. Their customer service is awful, the new owner argues with customers and refuses to give refunds when her food is clearly spoiled. She fired all of the good cooks and delivery men and replaced them with incompetent workers. It’s a shame, because they used to be the best takeout place on Staten island.

Greatest Chinese food ever. Just get a large wonton soup and Ribs with pork fried rice, that’s the best Chinese experience in your life. May they stay open a million years.

I’m not getting paid to do this but this Chinese food place is the best I say by far Chinese food I’ve had since I moved to Staten Island this compares to Brooklyn Chinese food or a bit better but I’ll tell you what if you looking for good Chinese food than this is the place… prices are good but what you get for your money is well worth the $$$$$ and I’m not getting paid to advertise for them this yum yum next to me is more like dog food than anything. This is the spot for me and I think ppl that enjoy good quality Chinese food should deff go check this place out… o and the left over are even better the next day. Done now go and see for your self.

The food’s great. Open kitchen so you can see everything Being made fresh. The prices are average for Chinese food and the service is great. I recommend their chicken wings and the shrimp toast. Also, they have good spring rolls.

The mister has fond memories of Fortune Cookies from his time on Staten Island, so when we made a recent trip back the first dinner we had was from here. He says it’s just like he remembers, and to my mind, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. My favorite was the shumai dumplings. I’m not usually a fan of shumai but these were big and meaty, with an absolutely delicious soy-based sauce I could eat with just about anything. We had steamed and fried dumplings as well, and although I enjoyed the thick, chewy skins, I couldn’t really appreciate the filling, especially after the yummy shumai showed them up. My main was szechuan pork, which was good and spicy but a little too sweet for my taste – though please note that didn’t stop me from finishing it at breakfast the next day. I would have been happy to try more, had we stayed longer.
