Family Dollar

This family dollar is pretty big. I always find something here. The customer service is ok and has a parking garage.

What can I say… I shopped here today and it might have been the absolute worst shopping experience in my life!!! Let’s start with the extremely cluttered DIRTY store. Out of the 8 — 10 aisles only 3 were accessible. Now the staff there were two associates behind the check out counter I waited in line approx 3 minutes until I was acknowledged did I mention I was the only one on line. One associate was too busy on her cell phone. The other guy was counting money with an open safe in plain sight. Make what you want from this but I won’t come back!!!

Love this store everything need you can find here at discounted prices … Well actually for a dollar. Today I ran I’m for quick gardening supplies so I needed soil I was in a rush because I had to pick my son up from day care as I’m running through else a young man by the name of tysheem saw me and asked me I I needed help I told him what i was looking for not only did he escort me to the isle he also brought the heavy bags of soil to the counter for me NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE ! I’ve spent money in super high end stores where they treat you like crap and your spending hundreds of dollars I walked out with a smile on my face so if any managers are reading this please take note that you have an excellent staff member by the name I tysheem KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK (so glad to see the youth employed)

As soon as you walk through the door, your greeted with a friendly hello and welcome to Family Dollar. I’ve been hooked ever since and no everything is not a dollar. You name it they have it, household items, school supplies, beauty supplies and the savings are great.

Oh f.d. How did I survive without you for so long? Makeup, candy, books… the list goes on. In the past few months I have scored loreal lipgloss, softsoap body bars and more! Can I get a yippee!

So I always thought this was a dollar store (everything $ 1) but it’s not, but it’s not far off either. A decent store to grab toiletries, snacks, kitchenware and even home accents. I got beautiful coffee mugs for a dollar each, with cute inspirational quotes on them in pretty colors — total $ 4 for the set! Nice tumblers for the guests, and even nicer reed diffusers for the house. Prices are cheap, very clearly labeled (which I love). I especially love the snack aisle. As a snack food afficionado, I really appreciate the fact that they carry different brands not in a regular supermarket, and my favorite brands in smaller sizes, and for cheaper prices. For ex, sometimes I don’t want to eat the big 99 cent Dorritos, the 50 cent is perfect! The only down side to this place, never enough employees working, so there’s always huge lines at the checkout counter. Convenient parking lot in front, and a Checkers right next door — not such a good thing for my waistline.
