Established in 2012.

We currently use a partial immersion education approach in our Dual Language Academy’s after school program. The student will have 50% of their time with a certified English speaking teacher. During this time they will be taught the fundamentals of the English language, advanced skills that will put them ahead of their class, as well as have assistance with their homework from school.

The other 50% of their time will be spent with a second certified teacher who excels in the bilingual language being taught. Depending on your child’s skills, the teacher will teach them the basics of the language being taught, the culture of the language, and introduce them to reading and writing skills. For students who are already familiar with the oral basics on the partner language, the teacher will provide a more complex syllabus to help them reach new levels in the partner language.

Business Owner

After having the opportunity to work at different educational and enrichment programs, I decided to create my own program. The programs at Dual Language Academy incorporates all of the good qualities that I found in other places, as well as new unique qualities. With a masters in childhood education, experience in public school settings, day cares and experience with evaluating children’s developmental skills, I’ve developed a curriculum that can help youngsters strive to their fullest potential, while having fun!

The importance of bilingualism was also instilled in me from childhood. Not many programs emphasize bilingual education appropriately. At Dual Language Academy, our teachers are trained to administer this program and our students become proficient speakers in a new language.
