COLD KING AIR

As a recently minted law grad, strapped for cash, I was faced with a serious dilemma several weeks ago, when I witnessed my heating furnace give its last dying breath. For the past several years, I’ve been getting by just fine without working AC, relying on multiple fans and opened windows, but I simply was not prepared to endure a New York winter without heat.
I write this review for Cold King Air Corp, and particularly in support of its owner, Teddy in doing a tremendous job over the past couple of days in restoring my heating/​air conditioning unit, and in just 2 days!
Prior to reaching out to Cold King Air Corp, I contacted several other local area HVAC companies, Costco, Vlad and Scaran to name a few. Of all the companies I reached out to, Cold King Air Corp provided the more fair quote, beating out their competitors by long shot. Although, I’m not at liberty to disclose the final agreed upon price, I will say that I easily saved well over $ 1500 by choosing to go with Cold King Air Corp.
On Monday, I received a quote over the phone from Teddy, the owner of Cold King Air Corp. Teddy came over to my house later that evening to look at my unit in order to provide a more accurate quote in person. Teddy broke down all of the work his company would perform, including removing the old unit, putting in a new furnace, a new coil, and installing the condenser in my backyard. I immediately agreed to retain his services given the deal I would be getting.
The following day, Teddy and his men worked on installing the new AC/​heating unit, while I was away from home, working in the city. When I came home, I was pleasantly surprised to find most of the new equipment had already been installed, and the old equipment was nowhere in sight (I presume Cold King Air Corp hauled it off to the junkyard). Teddy, subsequently called me later that evening to give me a rundown of the work he and his men put in that day, and told me that he estimated it would take a few more hours to complete the job the following day.
The following day, Wednesday, Teddy and his men worked on my house again while I was away at work. They completed the installation, removed the trash and debris that came with the installation, and helped me lock my front door on their way out. I’m still amazed by how quickly these guys were in and out, and able to complete the job in just under 2 days. Teddy again called me that evening, and gave me a rundown of how everything went, and we discussed payment arrangements.
I met with Teddy, Thursday evening and I paid him in full. He provided me with some paperwork to register the equipment, and also a receipt, which included a one-​year labor warranty. All in all, I’m extremely satisfied that I went with Cold King Air Corp. They helped clean out all of my air ducts, and now the temperature in my house is consistent throughout all three floors. With my old AC/​heating unit, I’d have to wake up at night because it would be warm when I went to bed, but the temperature would drop several degrees over night. Over the past two nights, the temperature throughout the house has consistently remained at 70 degrees (what I set mine to), my thermostat is working less hard to maintain a constant temperature, and the house just feels so much better.
In closing, I would like to recommend without reservations Cold King Air Corp (Teddy) to any and all who need to have their AC or heating equipment replaced. Teddy’s extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and I’m fairly certain he can get any job done at a fraction of the costs others are charging.

Cold King installed two ductless air conditioning units for me. They are a great group of guys to deal with. When you call them with questions, they get back to you right away. When I thought something was wrong they came right over and took care of it. Received the best estimate from them initially which I why I selected them.

My mother-​in-​laws furnace gave out in the middle of winter last year and I was so lucky to find Cold King. In was during a weekend, but they gave me a quote right away over the phone, showed up with 2 trucks, several guys and got the job done as fast as possible. They even cleaned up hauling away the old furnace. The price was extremely reasonable and even came with a more than fair warranty. I plan to use them again this year for my own home to replace a hot water heater. HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys.

I highly recommend Teddy and his professional team! Guys are professionals, know what they are talking about and explain every step of their job. Whether you are doing some patch job or install new unit, they give you all options that you might have.
Their prices are good, compare to others, but we chosed them because they care about your AC/​heater from the beginning till the ending of their job. And by the way they are very clean in work.
2 years labor warranty is also a plus.
