History

Established in 1945.

Starting out as a Home Improvement company Paul Christie (Founder) decided early on that Specializing in Garage Doors would be a promising direction. The Christie «Lamp-​Lighter» Door was developed and manufactured by Paul and his sons from California Redwood. We no longer build the Lamp-​Lighter door but still to this day we are servicing them and some of them still look great. The company has and still is run with one single goal. Bring the highest level of workmanship to your customers and everything else will come to you.

Andrew came to work for the Christie brothers in 1988. as a young carpenter Andrew found this work challenging and rewarding. Moving up the company ranks Andrew was soon the lead Installer and service tech as well as helping out with sales. In 1993 The Brothers decided it was time to retire and they offered the honor of running their family business to Andrew. With experience and integrity instilled to him by the Brothers, Andrew grabbed the reins and today runs the company with the same core values as the brothers did so many years ago.
