I love this place. The food is great. The pricea are even better. Mainly a takeout joint but they have room to sit in. Well lit and clean. The owner is a great guy. The catered a few parties for me and my friends and we were happy. I would definitely recommend.

I hate leaving negative reviews especially to local businesses but the problem is the food was just not good as well as price being overpriced so with that being said I would recommend kosher Chinese to be ordered from Elizabeth

The food is not bad but pricey, understandable its a kosher thing. I have eaten in many kosher establishments both on Staten Island and the other boroughs. I got upset the other night. What I do not get is this. You go to any food establishment and ask for additional ketchup they give to you with out any hesitation nor charge an additional cost especially if your a regular customer and even if your not. I spend over a hundred dollars each week from this establishment, rightfully you would get upset when the guy behind the counter tells you that he needs to charge you more for a two ounce container of dumpling sauce after you just ordered sixty dollars of their food. I think that’s ridiculous… I have had many businesses in the past and new ones in the present… I try to keep my customers especially in this competitive and economically tough market. I would not loose a customer over a 50 cent issue… I wonder if they think I would patronize their business again nor tell people I know to order from there???

The wait time was 40 min for a combo platter(chicken and broccoli), anywhere else it would have been 10 min. I asked for no veggy’s in my rice and there was at least a half of raw onion in there with peas and carrots. My broccoli was raw and the chicken was so blan it tasted like it was cooked in flour and water only. My(fried) rice was nothing but yellow rice underseasoned. The prices were not reasonable, not sure what others ordered there, i paid over $ 10 for a combo. This was my first and last time ordering from there. I figured i would give a new place in the neighborhood a shot.

I eat there all the time. Glad we finally have kosher Chinese food in Staten Island. They are always adding to their menu. Food wasn’t that great when they opened but improved significantly. I eat there regularly.

the food isn’t bad, but the egg rolls are very small, and if you don’t ask for the beef egg rolls you are automatically given a vegetarian egg roll. never had that one pulled on me before!(mind you they cost the same $ 1.30) as for the fried rice, i don’t know what to make of it. its not fried rice, but a poor imitation of it. so im recommending that you order either sesame chicken or general tzao but without anything like egg rolls or rice because it will disappoint you.

After frequenting this establishment 5 more times since my last review, I must say that they deserve another star. Their Tso/Sesame chicken may be the best i’ve had in the metro area(and much better than New Kosher Special), the sweet n sour is pretty good, tacos are good especially for the price(3 for $ 6 though i’d prefer hard shells), and their fried chicken/wings are really good, and a bucket for $ 12 with fries being a great deal. fried wontons w/teriyaki and meat egg rolls are also great, but need to eat them fresh to really enjoy. Only down side on the actual food is i have yet to have enjoyed one of their meat dishes, though the meat appears to be quality, haven’t really enjoyed the flavors. the wonton soup has gotten better from the opening(more flavor, and still apparently without msg/yellow coloring) and i love that their fried rice and other items are not fake yellow like at some other cheap chinese food places. In general, their prices are really reasonable(and close to New Kosher Special prices), they deliver for free, and have worked out the admin issues and delays from their first week. Only reason i didn’t give 5 stars is the lack of online ordering/having to give over your credit card and other info on the phone everytime you order. annoying and a time waster, but i guess it keeps the prices down? overall, a great addition to the SI kosher scene.

Ordered at 4 pm. At 5:30 didn’t arrive yet. Called them and were told the food was on the way. It finally arrived at 6:30, two and a half hours later. Meat dumplings in soup, almost had no meat. Pepper steak and onion plate, had mostly onions, very few pieces of meat. The rest was ok, except they forgot rice that came with every meal. Tried calling them, but calls went straight to voice mail that wasn’t set up. Finally we someone picked up after trying for more than 20 minutes. We were told that rice would come soon. Of course it never came. We ordered«fast» Chinese food because we needed food fast. Makes better sense cooking yourself.
