I passed this place many times but never realize it was there, until I got the groupon. Michele gave me the message. First thing she asked was if I want soft, medium or hard, and I asked for hard, which is what I preferred (I’ve often get deep tissue massage), She really worked hard — I never got such a good rub-​down. I’ve asked that she worked on my lower back and she did that well. It was wonderful — walked out very happy, and planned on going back for facial and a message.
Note — bring a rubber band for your hair, they don’t put your hair in a towel like some of the other spas. I think I may bring a pillow case as well since the «cloth» they put over the opening (where you put your head) isn’t that comfortable. Lastly, ask about their specials .they have pkg where you get facial and massage together at a discount. I think $ 60 is very reasonable; I don’t know any place that charges less, and you get excellent service

I purchased two groupons one for my mom & one for myself. They did the facial and massage both in one room which was nice so i didnt have to get up and go to another room in between. My therapist was Yuki, she started out with the massage she was great definitely the perfect amount of pressure for me. She was able to feel my knots and tightness and really focus and apply pressure on the areas i needed (while checking with me that the pressure was ok with me). She followed with a facial as a fellow esthetician i really enjoyed her facial. i normally like a little more pressure on my face but it was just right and relaxing. She let me know everything she did also. i was very satisfied with my experience there and will be back to see Yuki. My mom said she enjoyed her services as well from Eva.

I guess it’s one of those you get what you pay for. Found them on groupon. Massage was more pressure then the norm. It’s been a while since I had one so figured just more knots. Well the next day felt like I was punched in the back numerous times. So sore and painful. 10x worse then when I went in. I’m an average size woman. Didn’t have to massage me like a full grown man. Facial, basically they put a mask on you and leave you there for a half hr. All you hear is a bunch of commotion going on. From answering phones and making appt. Talking amongst themselves in another language. I’d rather pay more next time and go to a more professional place.

I came back here for a facial and a massage. Super affordable and it was a relaxing experience as well as wallet friendly! They really massage every part of your body, paying special attention to any tense areas you may have. They rub creams and oils all over you but they wipe it all off with a hot towel so you don’t feel gross afterwards.
The one downfall is the paper thin walls and doors. I had the unfortunate experience of a kid repeatedly running up and down the hallway… Who brings a kid to a place like this?

This is a fantastic place to get a massage. I got my mother a gift certificate for Mother’s Day for an hour-​long massage here and she absolutely loved it. She couldn’t speak highly enough of the place and her masseuse. My mother later got my girlfriend a gift certificate for a massage here and my girlfriend liked it a lot as well. Finally I figured I might as well try it out for myself and my massage was very pleasant and relaxing. I definitely recommend Athena.

This place is the best! I’ve been all around Staten Island looking for a good place, but this one was really amazing. I’ve enjoyed the eyelashes a lot because of how long but natural it looks! I’ve tried out many facials and they all made me look so much better. This is the only place I can go to to relieve my stress because of the soothing massages! Will definitely recommend this place to everyone!

DO NOT GET YOUR EYELASHES DONE HERE! Worst experience I have ever had. First of all, she was way over booked. She kept leaving the room, talking on the phone and dealing with customers throughout the entire time that she was applying my lashes. She pinched the crap out of my skin and rushed to finish not giving enough time for the glue to dry so Glue got into my eye and my eyes stung and were red. And if that wasn’t enough I looked like mini mouse when she was done. One eye had more lashes than the other and when I pointed it out she made up some stupid excuse. When I got home I took them out and noticed that even though the amazon deal said individual lashes she had also used several lash clusters which would explain the unnatural look. I don’t know what kind of glue she used but my eyes were irritated and itchy. The eyelashes actually hurt and felt heavy. I will NEVER return and I hope this review helps save someone’s eyelashes… because right now I barely have any of my natural lashes left and I am praying they will grow back.

Place is amazing, I’ve been there a number of times for facials and massages. The staff is VERY accommodating, and VERY friendly, they even remember you when you are a returning customer. The place is clean and has a very relaxing feel to it. All of the times I’ve went to get massages I have ALWAYS left happy as they make sure they are doing exactly what you want and not what THEY want like some places. Highly recommend.

Went here today for eyelash extensions and I LOVE how they came out!!! It’s a cozy little spa with private rooms. There was soothing music playing and they have you lie on a heated bed during the application. The girl doing my extentions was a sweetheart. I was so at ease and relaxed I actually fell asleep! I am def recommending to all my friends and I will be back for a touch up.

This is my Holy Grail go to for eyelash extensions for all of the tri state. I have been to MANY, and this is the best bang for the buck at $ 45 for a full set of lashes (meaning she will put as many extensions as lashes that you have) with no limit as to how many like they charge you for in the city.
Tina is the owner whom I absolutely adore, she’s so sweet, cracks me up, and has the most adorable daughter who will be with her sometimes at the front desk. I’ve gotten a few standard facials here too and it’s simple but the extractions are the best part, they are extremely thorough with that and to me, the most important part of a facial. Thank you Tina for being an awesome person and keeping me pretty.

I’ve been coming to Athena Spa for about a year now, always for the deep tissue massage. They do an excellent job and I really enjoy this place. I haven’t gone anywhere else for a massage ever since I came here. They prices are affordable which makes me happy. Service is also excellent! I will be going back to try the eyelash extensions! Can’t wait!

Went today for my 1^st ever massage, it was great. Nothing to compare it too being I only had one, but I like this place and will be back. Wife paid so no idea on $, but workers were nice and friendly.

Amazing spa! Super relaxing. Everyone is so nice and attentive. Very clean and welcoming environment! Highly recommended!

Disappointed I spent my hard earned money here. Do not recommend. Don’t want to say anything too harsh, but suffice it to say, if you want to have a truly luxurious, satisfying and relaxing experience, do not go here. I think I derive more pleasure from taking a shower at home than I did at this spa.

This is one of Staten Island hidden secrets, I have been going here for almost 1 yr now and Ms. Tina the Manager is wonderful, My therapist Ivy gives me a heavenly massage every time. She is so good, I typically fall asleep ½ way thru it. I go 3 – 4 times a month. It is my place of Zen when I am stressed and need to relax. Highly recommended!

Great spa. Ivy did a wonderful job with the laser lipo. I saw results quite fast. I would definitely recommend this place to coworkers and friends. I’m glad I came across this place through groupon. Prices are fair and the quality is awesome.

I purchased a groupon for a $ 38 1 hour long deep tissue massage. IT WAS FABULOUS. I will be coming here at least once a month because they were so good. She did my whole body, really relaxed me. The smell is nice, the oil was great.
The place itself may look questionable upon arrival but trust, go in! its labeled athena aesthetics but its a small spa. Nice women work there.

Tina is very nice and she does a pretty good job with the eyelashe extension for the price.

I was skeptical about this place at first but it turned out to be a great little secret gem! The spa is simple, quiet and clean. I got the deep tissue massage and it was wonderful! If you like deep pressure massages! You must try! Prices were reasonable and easy to book an appointment.

I gave this place a try using an Amazon local deal I had, and I’ve been back over and over again. No matter which person I have, they do a fantastic job. They don’t cut your time short and the price is very reasonable.
