Arthur Treacher’s Fish & Chips

Wow alot of reviews for a mall food count stand! Lol
It’s just bad… Maybe I order something wrong… But the title of your restaurant is fish and chips and for me to order fish and chips is still bad then geez what’s else is good?
Order the fish and chips… I asked how long because I wanted to check out other food stands and they said about two mins… So I was like. Okies …then I waited… since it was only two mins… but they are liars… Waited for about fifteen mins… I could of took a mini walk… So finally the foods here and they said soda came with it… Yippy to three sips of soda… Sat down took the first bite and it was disgusting… huss puppies was dry the fish was dry and the fries were dry… If your drying up fried food there’s a problem… they didn’t even give me any ketchup or tartar sauce to help with the dryness… No wonder I hate fast food… It’s just terrible…

Back in the day this place was great… Now it’s just terrible. I got the general impression that this place got bought out, the new owner kept the name and went with cheap substitutes. Those classic Arthur Treacher fries are gone, in their place are steak fries that you can get at any diner on the island and the fish is plain generic battered cod. One way or another this place is noon get part of a franchise because the menu has doubled in size with items that are completely unrelated to Arthur Treachers seafood motif. They now offer subs, gyros, lamb over rice and other items that make the place come across as a Halal truck rather than seafood restaurant. Admittedly, I haven’t eaten here in over a year but it was that rare treat to grab while I was in the mall but it isn’t anymore. Sad to say but this was probably the last time I’ll eat there.

I always order the Grilled Chicken Panini with tomatoes, mozzarella and red peppers with a side of ranch dressing. The panini bread is delicious and the chicken is juicy. Decent meal for a mall food court.

I’ve only had the gyro there but it is pretty fantastic and the perfect lunch.

not bad… i enjoyed their mixed platter (shrimps, chips, potato, etc) w/soda…this is actually filling, i may just be back to have more…

Unfortunately, i work in the mall. Unfortunately, everyone who works in the mall has no healthy food option in the food court. When i first started working in the mall everyone swore by Arthur Treachers salad’s. They’re big. They’re a healthy alternative. They’re somewhat affordable ($ 7 for salad?!). They’re clean… oh wait, there’s a hair in my salad.
I think the people who own this arthur treachers also own a pizzeria on the island. Inspect your food before you eat it.
