In 2015, I permanently relocated to the Lake Tahoe area, as I had dreamed about for many years. I have been an electrician since 1999, and self employed since 2007. I spent years in Southern California providing Yelp users with the best possible experience of hiring an electrician. I look to continue that same service to the resident’s and business’ in Lake Tahoe and surrounding cities.

Jason was amazing! He got back to me same day, arrived on time and stayed until the job was done. He was determined to solve my electrical issue and kept trying long after others would probably have given up. He brought my porch light back from the the dead and fixed the faulty wiring to the security light. This guy knows his stuff! If you want quality work at a fair price, look no further. You owe it to yourself and your home to let Jason do the work. He is the real deal! I will be using him for all my future electrical needs.

Had a problem with the electrical tripping when the spa jets were on. Called Jason who came out within a day and checked all the outlets and the breakers. I assumed I needed a whole new panel, but he said just fixing the circuit breaker fuses would fix the problem. He is very knowledgeable and honest and I am having him return for some additional work. I definitely will use him for all my electrical needs.

I had a small job to convert a 220 outlet back to 110 after converting the range to gas. I had a hard time getting a hold of an electrician to do the job and found Jason on Unilocal.He promptly returned my call, and stopped by later that day to figure what materials he would need, and give me an estimate. He returned the next evening and charged a reasonable rate. I was very happy with the prompt and courteous service. I’ve found a new electrician. Thanks Jason.

I contacted Jason after reading these reviews. It was a decision I have not regretted. Jason is a real deal tradesman who not only installed my new ceiling fan, he rewired another fan which was incorrectly and poorly installed previously by another electrician. He also resolved another unrelated electrical issue. There was no extra charge for the extra work as his original quote remained unchanged. I am thankful that I now have a very experienced electrician I can rely on and therefore, I have no hestitation in recommending Jason to you. This I do seldom as it is something I am normally reluctant to do. Finally a tradesman who takes pride in his work!

Call Jason for any electrical problem. New Years Eve, 2014, called at 2:30pm with a fried CGFI outlet in my kitchen. I was expecting to pay top dollar being so late in the afternoon and on New Years Eve. «Today is just another work day for me». No extra fee and was at my door in 15 minutes! Done repairing the burned outlet in another 15 minutes. Cleaned up any mess he made, was polite professional and explained everything he did. The other Unilocal electrician I called first didn’t call me back until Jan 3rd! I will only call Jason for any future electrical problems. Thank you for bailing me out and Happy New Year!

Called yesterday for an appointment and got one for today. I was skeptical about someone having all five star reviews on Unilocal — but went with it. Jason is professional, personable and got all my electrical issues fixed. Price was reasonable. I just found my new Electrician. He was terrific. In and out quickly and cleaned up after himself. I called around to several Electricians trying to get a quote on having a 240v outlet installed in my garage for an EV Charger. Jason was the most knowledgeable about the process and the permit and was able to give me a very accurate and competitive quote right over the phone from my description of what I needed. Most of the other electricians wanted to schedule something before giving me any numbers at all.
Jason is very friendly and professional. He worked around my very limited availability and did an amazing job and the total cost actually came in below his original estimate. He is my go to electrician from here on out.

I called JB Electric along with a handful of other electricians. A few called back, but JB Electric owned and operated by Jason B. was the first one to come out and give me an estimate. A few more came out, but I felt more comfortable with Jason. Jason upgraded my panel, installed some exterior outlets and light box. He put more power to my garage and put in a gable fan in my garage attic. He had to come out 3 different times because of all the upgrading I was doing on my own, drywall, painting, etc. He was more than happy to work around my schedule. The price was right and he cleaned up afterwards. I will be doing more work in the future and will be using JB Electric.

Jason is an outstanding electrician. He is fair, honest, reliable, and hard working. Electrical work is soemthing you can easily overpay for, since it is so confusing to most of us. Helped me out on 2 electrical problems for 1 LOW price. a new power panel & new feed to the house AC. I was on a TIGHT time schedule and Jason put on his superman cape.
Day 1 ran a new feed to the AC unit so I could pass inspection! Day 2 New service in the house UNDER 7 hours W/​O power. and that’s REALLY fast. Plus I had a Honda generator to keep things running, while Jason did his MAGIC. I have been in the film industry for 40 years and worked with all the crafts.
Jason is HONEST, Professional, Quick, Safe, worked the FIRST TIME we switched it on… PLUS Cleans up his mess.
Would recommend his services to anyone in Santa Clarita.

We have a problem with our dishwasher, so I did a Unilocal search and found that JB Electric had the most favorable reviews. He lived up to the hype. Even though Jason couldn’t resolve our problem (Most likely not a electrical, but we need a new dishwasher), he did every thing he could. He even came by the next day without charge just to try another method. He is a true professional and he seems to love his job and customers. Since we live in a pretty old home, we’ll be using Jason in the future. Thank you Jason!
