Rajeev S.

Business Owner

Dr. Rajeev Sharma founded VideoMining Corporation and has led the evolution of company from a University startup to an industry leader in shopper marketing intelligence. He is recognized as a pioneer in technology-​enabled analysis of human behavior and a thought leader in shopper marketing research. Prior to founding the company, Rajeev had a successful academic career at the Pennsylvania State University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-​Champaign. He won many prestigious awards and recognition including the National Science Foundation’s CAREER award and best paper awards at international conferences. He has helped in securing and managing more than $ 40 million in federal research grants. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Maryland and a Bachelors degree from Indian Institute of Technology.
