Incredible, I drive up and ask to use the air for a trailer tire, and the next thing I know they are taking off the tire and fixing the stem for free. I’m in town on business, but I know the next time I need basic auto work, I’m going to Sears.

As we didn’t have to deal with some of the issues that other reviewers had, I will note that this particular visit was five-​star.
The crew deserves some accolades for customer service. Following a freak turn of events with one of our crazy dogs (who did not sustain any damage in the incident), my girlfriend’s tailgate would not close right. We didn’t know whether it was a quick fix or body damage. I called first thing in the morning, explained the situation to Dee, who told us just to bring it over, so they could assess the damage. We got there and the other front worker (didn’t catch his name) came right out to look, discovered the issue, fiddled with it for a while, and 10 minutes later, it was back to normal. Before we could even ask, he told us there was no charge for such a service. They were so nice and friendly and accommodating the whole time, and we were relieved that we didn’t have to postpone our trip out of town.

Worst place in town. No one has a clue. Do not follow appointments. Was suppose to have tires changed in morning first thing. Was told to come at 9. I did they had not even started. Do not trust these people.

The customer service is decent, they were realistic in letting me know it would take awhile to do the alignment on my car and service it. Okay, no problem.
The wait took longer than expected. I was a bit annoyed when the mechanic tried to convince me to have «other» services tagged on. Don’t fall for that unless it’s absolutely critical (for example, they discovered your brake pads are completely worn down – something like that, you NEED to have serviced).
Other than that, it’s your typical Sears – better than most I’ve seen.

We are stuck in the florescent-​lit purgatory of a waiting room behind a couple who brought their car in to get the tires replaced at 4:30. There is no one else here. 1 hour 45 minutes later, the sullen, insolent staff is just getting to it. They told us it would take 1.5 hours to change our tires but they’re looking at overtime to get even two on the car. One mechanic flat-​out lied to my mother on his leisurely walk to his break («Sure, I’ll get to your car next, but I have to eat first») even though the shop was closing soon. I understand that employers may legally require employees to take breaks, but how about being honest? He’s worked on two other cars since promising to get to ours right after his little snacky. What makes your time more valuable than ours when we’re the ones paying for it? They get a single star only because one young employee (not the one replacing our tires, naturally) was polite.
