The Nittany Quill has been a part of the State College landscape since 1984. We are located downtown in the historic Dale Building on Fraser Street. The Nittany Quill is a fine stationery shop dedicated to the paper and writing experience. The Nittany Quill is a Wedding and event stationer. We encourage you to visit the shop for specialized and creative solutions to your invitation or personalized paper needs. Joy Rodgers-​Mernin, owner of the shop, has been creating various gift products and custom pieces featuring her calligraphy and art work.

Joy Rodgers-​Mernin, owner of the shop, has been creating various gift products featuring her calligraphy and art work in the form of framed quotes, cards, magnets, bookmarks, and memory books. Custom Calligraphy is a big part of the day. Wedding guest registeries, certificates, mission statements, envelope addressing, placecards, and anything made more beautiful by hand lettering. Joy grew up in the beautiful Kishacoquillas Valley. Her art reflects the beauty of the natural landscape and colors. She is a graduate of Smith College. Joy lives happily with her husband Keith on a family farm. Her children, Jesse and Jack are the great delights of her life.
