They have doner kabab, a staple food for all street foodies who travel Europe. Very similar to a Gyro. The food was decent and I would try it again, I went on a slow day and wonder what it would be like if the food was coming up super fresh. Go down and give it a try, the town has needed one of these places for a long time. A bit pricey, but I am used to buying these in Poland, so my price point is a bit off.

What’s with all the platter places opening up around State College? Either way, Get N’ Go is okay to say the least. Their meat is a bit on the tame side flavorwise, but they give you a pretty heaping chunk of it. On the other hand, the rice has ranged from too dry, to okay, to «The rice is so wet it has become a small balled up self-aware entity in my platter». Price is decent enough too at $ 8.50. Overall, it’s not bad and it’ll tide me over at least until State Platters defrosts from the winter.

DONERKEBAB! I have not seen this available ANYWHERE in the US, but had it numerous times on a trip to Germany. Similar to a Gyro, Doner is lamb and beef ground and mixed, and then grilled on a vertical spit, then shaved onto grilled pita bread, with veggies and sauce. Seems it’s mainly made for walk-up-and-go eating, and it’s located right above Big Bowl Noodle House. I’ll definitely be making some return visits!
