Former Penn State Student Thomas DiLella started this business prior to 2013 loading/​unloading Uhaul trucks as a student for extra income to help pay for school.

In 2013 Thomas and Brittany purchased a fleet of their own including all of the supplies to operate a Full Service Moving Company. Thomas handles the operations and Brittany deals with the Packing department and office tasks. Together they have moved 100’s of clients both local and long distances. They offer a guaranteed service that is unmatched in Centre County and strive to earn repeat business from each and every client.

Thomas DiLella grew up in a tight knit community in Pennsylvania called Dunmore. Thomas has always had an entrepreneurial spirit finding ways to earn income outside of the traditional 9 – 5 job due to his involvement in multiple sports. During his time in High School he competed in both Football and Track and field with an appearances in the State Title game for football and the Track and field State Championships. He was a member of the 07 – 08 graduating class for Dunmore High School. Thomas obtained a Bachelors degree in Energy, Business and Finance from Pennsylvania State University in 2012. Out of College he began working as a petroleum product scheduler for Sheetz Corporation. He worked for Sheetz Inc for a years time before he realized there was a burning desire to own a business of his own. He believes in running an honest business and is adamant about helping others. He has over 5+ years experience in the Moving Industry. In April 2013 he started Appalachian Movers LLC.
