History

Established in 1948.

Originally Napa Autocare Center, the original owners outgrew the small Napa building and built the existing shop behind the NAPA store. I started this business to fill a void in the auto repair and service community. With my previous 17 years experience in the automotive industry, I have seen the good and the bad this field has to offer. I wanted the chance to give customers a premium service experience at an affordable price. I also feel that this industry has a lot of predators in it and it needs good, honest people to look out for consumers. That is where Advanced Automotive is different, I feel like we have a responsibility to educate our customers and help them make good decisions when it comes to their service needs. In these hard economic times, customers need to know they are not spending money on unnecessary repairs. I am a car/​truck enthusiast and enjoy speaking with people. I truly enjoy what I do and helping people makes me happy. I guess that is the only way to sum it up.

I am a German car enthusiast at heart, but have owned and driven many other vehicles over my lifetime. I truly enjoy getting to know my customers on a more personal basis, which I believe allows me to serve them better. My parents owned a small restaraunt in Silverlake (Everett) when I was growing up; I remember working there as young as 10 years old. I would fold pizza boxes, whatever was needed. I worked for them until 1992. From there, I started out working in the automotive industry at Discount Tire Co. I was promoted to Assistant Manager in 1993 and continued working there until October of 1998. I left to work at Honda of Kirkland, I started out at the bottom in the service department and quickly moved up in the department and was promoted to Service Manager in 2000. I continued working there until 2006. I left Honda and took the shop manager position at Conaway Motors. I was there for 3 years and since left to persue my dream of owning my own business.
